Naruto's decision to work on yachts wasn't something he announced to others. It wasn't that he was embarrassed by his job, but that he didn't want them to come and bother him while he was working. He didn't want to see them at all actually. When one found out, word spread fast. He, shikamaru, hinata, and lee had agreed to the same terms. They wanted a smooth charter season just as much as he did. When the season ended, they acted like they hadn't seen each other for months.

The season was three weeks in and the last charter had just left the yacht. Right now, Naruto and Hinata were cleaning the interior preparing for the next guests while Lee and Shikamaru worked on the exterior.

"I hope the next guests are a little nicer than the previous ones." Hinata said as she threw a load of bed sheets in the washer. Naruto grabbed a clean cloth and threw it over his shoulder. "Me too. These ones were a pain in my ass." Naruto rolled his eyes at the remembrance of their behavior. They were a messy group. Constantly spilling drinks, too many fights, too many rules broken, hell one of them even jumped off the yacht when it was moving and Naruto had to dive into the water to get her out.

He was surprised the captain didn't kick them off, but then again he was too busy reading those pronos to even care about what was happening. "I'm gonna go fix up the cabins. How long until the next guests arrive?" Naruto was making his way out of the laundry room. "A few hours." The blonde ran a hand through his hair as he blew out a breath. "Damn. We've been cleaning for a while then."

"Yep. Time flies when you're busy Naruto." The dark haired girl gave him a small smile as she folded some of the clean laundry now. He pressed his lips together in an attempting smile before leaving.

Naruto stepped up into their break area as a cabinet closed. "What a drag." Shikamaru's iconic phrases filled his ears. A grin met his face as the boy came into view. He was sprawled out on the couch with his head tipped back. Naruto leaned on the table as he looked down at him.

"Come on Shikamaru. We don't have all day to be sitting around."

The boy eyes slid to him slowly. "I don't even know why I picked this job in the first place. It's such a drag." Naruto parted his lips in a bigger smile. "Because I'm your best friend." Naruto pointed at himself in a cheery manner. Shikamaru sighed as he got up from the couch and began walking back up the stairs to the deck.

"I don't even know why I'm your best friend either."

"Oh come on Shikamaru! Don't be like that!" Naruto pointed after him. Even at 22 he still acted the same. You would thought he would grown up by now, but nope. He was just like his father.

Naruto went on his way cleaning the cabins and the stairs and the walls and even the windows on the deck level. It didn't take him as long as he thought it would. This job had become pretty easy for him as he had been doing it for about 3 years now every summer.

The walkie talkie on his hip began to speak. "I'm sending the guest preference sheets for you guys to look over. I'm sure you all will be pleased with this charter's guest. I know I sure am. Be in your whites in 45 minutes to greet the guests." That laid back voice came over the walkie talkie. Naruto pulled out his phone to check for the preference sheet he was talking about.

Message from Captain Kakashi.

Naruto opened the link. His eyes stared at the first photo. Gaara. He blinked once. Twice. "Oh fuck me." Naruto scrolled down to see the next guest. Ino. He scrolled again. Naruto was getting more on edge the further he got into the sheets. Neji. Kiba. Sakura. Sai. Naruto pinched the bridge of his nose at that last name. "Sai." He said the name out loud as he stared at the photo of him.
