This story is incredibly near and dear to my heart, created diligently (I am still writing too so bear with me) with a deep love for the quiet, soulful magic of the late Off the Wall and early Thriller eras. In this alternate universe, Michael isn't a global superstar caught in the spotlight. He is a regular young man living in New York City. He's still gentle, deeply observant, intensely devoted, and completely grounded in what I see as his truth. He still likes music, don't get me wrong because would it really be Michael if he didn't? I just wanted to capture the essence of who he was beneath the fame (or at least who I imagine he was).
At its core, this book is about devotion, confidence, and the unspoken language between two people who have known each other forever. Through one characters radiant energy and another's steady, unseen adoration, I hope this story wraps around you like a soft blanket.
