As the ocean tides roll in, the thunder clouds follow. The beach becomes deserted. People leave their buckets and shells, as they run from the storm. The storm I created.
I start my song of death, standing on the balcony of my house, waiting for some unlucky human, seeking shelter from the bitter rain.
The doorbell rang and I smile.
"Well. That was fast." I whisper and go down stairs. When I answer the door, a little girl stood there. Looking no older than 10. She had a bag, holding it to her chest.
'A young one! Why that will make the spirit of the sea happy' I think to myself.
"You must be cold little one. Come in. Come in." I made my voice sweet and kind, wanting her to trust me.
She comes in without a sound and I take her to the living room.
"Please sit. Do you want a drink? I have tea, milk, juice, and water."
"Water...please..." she whispers and I go to the kitchen, filling a cup full of water. I reach into my pocket and pulled out a vile of clear poison. I add one drop and put the vile back away, hidden.
The poison mixes with the water and I walk out, seeing that the little girl was gone. Only her notebook in her place.
"The little bitch" I took the notebook, it's most recent entry open. I read it out loud, quietly.
"Lunara, Siren.
Weakness: Horn of a Miniature through the heart.
Lures people with storms and song
Sacrifices people to her god/spirit,"
My mind reels and I feel a sharp pain through my back.
"Your time has come" The girl's voice comes from behind me. She pulls the horn from my back and I fall.
Before my vision blackens, I see her write in the notebook.
"You have been killed by Rose Moonstone, the monster hunter.
Then everything fades to black.
