So... gonna be very honest here. There's no plan for this, like at all. It's probably gonna end up being just this little one-shot (MEANING I DO NOT WANT ANY ART AND/OR AI COMMISSIONS FOR THIS, so save your bots/copy-paste comments for someone that does), but I had sudden inspiration to write this mainly due to my neices watching Pokemon clips on YouTube, more specifically clips of Meloetta from old episodes.
They wanted more context, I pulled up the full episodes from the anime that featured her, and funnily enough I also caught a Meloetta when I was messing around in old DLC I bought ages ago, sooooo... yeah. That's pretty much it. I then wrote this up in a few hours. Had a day off anyway.
Who knows? If i get enough REAL comments instead of scams, I might actually make a full series of this. But we can discuss that another time. Enjoy this for what its worth!

Unknown to anyone in the Kalos region, a Pokémon floated through the bushes and flower fields, as if look for someone or something. The Pokémon in question was small in size and no taller than a meter and had a feminine-like humanoid appearance yet it looks like a musical note. It has green wavy hair, but it had bar-style streaks in said hair like you'd see on musical sheets. Its hands had no fingers and its pupil-less yet beautiful light-blue eyes resembled Semibreves. Finally, it had a jewel on its forehead and a black headpiece on the side of its face that not only looked like yet another musical symbol, but also appeared to double as an actual microphone used by signers and gamers.
This was Meloetta, the mythical, and legendary, Melody Pokémon.
This Meloetta in particular was from Unova, but it had wanted to explore and seek more the world had to offer after... that boy. A boy that not only helped her, but played with her, trained and battled with her, was very kind to her and his Pokémon and always let her sit on his lap or float on and ride on his shoulder like his Pikachu did. Then those bad people tried to use her special song for nefarious purposes but even after that... she found the peaceful life rather boring now. After getting just a taste of adventure, including calming down a rouge Dragonite and even coming out of her own shell to protect that boy from a group of rampant Onix; Meloetta wanted more. So much more. She didn't want to hide anymore. She wanted to see the world! And what better opportunity than to revisit that boy!
Well, that was what was supposed to happen; but upon returning to that vacation home, she found no sign of the boy, but the nice Garchomp lady sitting outside drinking a tea did share he was already on his way back to his own region after challenging the Pokémon league and, to Meloetta's shock, actually lost. Poor Ash, and Kanto was so far. Maybe if she was there to cheer him on or, dare she say, assist him in those battles...
Not that it was any trouble, as after Ridley and his Golurk tracked Meloetta down (and neither were surprised Meloetta came back here), the little Mythical Pokémon communicated (to the best of her ability), that she wanted to see Ash again. And Cythina usually doesn't do this, but for the little singing Pokémon, she used her league connections to find out exactly where Ash was heading next, the blond Champion already aware Ash probably won't stay in his hometown for too long. She discovered a plane ticket to Kalos was purchased... and the rest was history.
Ash, Serena, Bonnie and Clemont decided to take a break from traveling by a lake and set up a picnic until they reached the next town. Their Pokémon had fresh Pokémon food, and the trainers themselves just sat to eat. At the same time, Meloetta saw this from the forest and got excited. Even in new clothes, she immediately recognized that boy, but it was the fact he was with 3 new humans. Odd... wasn't one of them a chief? And where's the poofy-haired one with the Dragonite she helped calm down?
