I looked up at the top of the roller coaster.
"I don't think I'm brave enough," I said and winced in fear.
He took my face in his hands and kissed me.
"I think you are."
He held my hands and my cheeks flooded with heat. I looked up at his face, seeing as though he was 5 inches taller than me.
He had an encouraging smile on his face and hopeful eyes. It was endearing and I couldn't resist.
"Fine, fine! But you can't make me like it!" I argued.
He tugged me by the hand and we ran to queue with the rest of my friends.
We got strapped in and panic struck.
"If I die, I want to say that you've been the best boyfriend ever. Even though we've only been dating for two weeks and one day. And If I start crying, please don't break up with me!"
He just laughed and held my hand tighter but that didn't ease my nerves. I momentarily shut my eyes.
No! Shutting your eyes just makes it worse.
The ride then began to descend.
