The wolf had finally decided to wake up. I've been getting bored of waiting for him. How long does it take for a person to sleep?

I observed the dark grey wolf with his white stripe that basically ran all over his body. He had a white crest-like design on his forehead and fur that resembled a hat that was the darkest shade of green. His face was white lined with the same grey shade of his body coat. His eyes were a deep blue and he wore two blue ear piercings. The wolf roamed the cell in anxiety looking around.

"Hey, you!" I yelled.

A/N: For the love of cookies, if y'all actually played the game, you triggered people would certainly know that it is not Navi. Also, Navi is actually pretty cool and not annoying. I don't see you guys complaining about Tatl who basically did the same thing. -from a triggered author

I abruptly turned my head to meet the red irises of the impish creature. On instinct, I growled at the blue skinned figure. Her body was lined with a bluish black shade. Her hair was a bright orange color with neon yellow tips. She wore a mysterious mask that had two large horn-like things and it was made of some sort of grey stone. The mask covered one of her eyes leaving only her right eye visible. She was probably only between two to three feet tall.

The imp flew over to my side leaning her shoulder onto me as if we've known each other for a long time.

"I can help you get out of this cell and return you to where you first stumbled onto the twilight," she said with a cocky grin on her face. "Just listen to me, wolf, and you'll be fine."

I still felt myself growling and she simply smirked and somehow magically teleported herself to the other side of the cell.

What the? Can't she just teleport me as well?

Her hair formed into a large hand and pointed to some dip in the ground.

"See that, wolf? You're going to need to squeeze under there to get yourself to this side."

My eyes scanned the dip. It looked a bit too small for me but I really had no choice. I put my head in first, and surprisingly, my whole body slipped through like butter.

As soon as I got through, I felt a hard surface hit my spine. I grunted and found that this imp had decided to make me her horse.

"Let's get out of here," she said. I must've been crazy for listening to someone I barely knew, but I rode off trying to find my way out of this dungeon. I eventually climbed an old stairwell that lead to the outside world.

The world was grim and dark. Rain poured down and black specks filled the sky. Strange black, bird-like creatures flew through the air.

"No time for sight seeing, wolf," the imp kicked, "Keep on moving."

I was on the roof top of some building. Those black creatures kept on attacking me but I fought them off. I finally found myself at some strange entry way and made myself inside to find myself in the structure once again.

"Go forward," the imp commanded.

I ran until my paws brought me to two large double doors. My head pushed the door open and I saw a cloaked figure looking out at the gloomy sky. The thunder boomed and flashed.

I found myself growling for some odd reason. The imp who sat atop of me giggled in mischief as if nothing was wrong. The cloaked figure, who seemed to be a girl, gasped. I approached her.

"...Midna?!" the hooded figure exclaimed in shock. So the imp's name was Midna...

Midna simply laughed, "You remembered my name? What an honor for me..." she spoke the last bit with sarcasm in her voice.

The cloaked girl spoke softly, "So, this is the one for whom you were searching."

Midna leaned back into the air, a bit of disinterest in her tone. "He's not exactly what I had in mind, but...I guess he'll do."

The figure bent down to my eye level and observed the chain on one of my legs. "You were imprisoned?" she asked with sympathy. "I am so sorry."

The imp smirked as the girl apologized to me. She seemed to have something planned for she kept maintaining that smug look.

Midna spoke, "The poor thing doesn't know where he is or what has happened to him. Don't you think it's about time you tell him what you've managed to do..." Her eyes lowered with a bit of hatred and became fierce, "...Twilight Princess."

The cloaked girl lowered her head and started to speak once again. "Listen carefully..." she started.

She had told me the entire story of how she was invaded by dark forces and the like and how she was hiding. I listened with open ears as all Midna seemed to do was yawn.

"Though the kingdom has succumb to twilight," the princess started, "I still remain its ruler." She pulled down her hood to reveal her face. "I am Zelda."

My face froze, shock apparent. Midna simply put her arms behind her neck. "No need to be sad. The twilight is actually quite livable, you know."

"Midna, now is not the time for that," Zelda spoke with authority now, "the shadow beasts have been looking all over for you. Why is that?"

Midna floated in the air in criss-cross position with her back facing the cloaked princess. My senses told me the two were not on friendly terms.

"You tell me," Midna simply giggled as she landed back on me.

Zelda looked at Midna knowing she wasn't going to answer. "You two must escape before the guard comes."

She simply smirked as she nudged me to leave the building. Once we were outside, she took herself away and floated in front of me.

"Well," she started, "I guess it's time I return you back. But aren't you forgetting something?" She used her powers to take shape of my friend's bodies and mocked them screaming.

Before the I was brought here, while I was unconscious, apparently two of my friends were taken: Collin and Ilia.

I gave her a look of shock and anger. Midna smirked once again. "I guess I could help you, but you'd have to be my servant and listen to whatever I say."

I growled and she grinned revealing her sharp teeth, "How about I give you some time to think?"

I looked at the imp with question and I was transported back to the spring where I fell unconscious. I heard Midna's laughter but did not see her.

"Even though you've left the darkened realm, you still haven't taken on your original form. Now why could that be?" She simply giggled.

"See you later," she said as her voice finally disappeared.

I was stuck in this wolf form and I didn't know what to do. I couldn't go back to the village or people would run in fear.

I ran out of the spring only to be stopped by my shadow that had now taken a new form in front of my eyes.
