The afternoon breeze. The sounds of freshmen panicking over what lessons they had next, the overall environment of college.
College in new York city; the city that never sleeps. It was the second week for the new comers.
Orange skies painted with black and grey by birds flying in it and the sound of car horns against the border of the college walls.
Sat in the middle of the chaos, on the wooden bench surrounded by shrubs and bright green plants, blooming with pink flowers. Were the girls. The elite squad. They didn't try to bring attention to themselves, it just came, naturally.
Firstly; Alysia, the sweetest one of the girls, her pink lululemon set matched with the flowers she sat next to, so did her pink lip combo. Her brunette hair curled on fleek.
Then; Michelle, darksin beauty. She wore a dark red lululemon set and reapplied her lip gloss every two seconds.
Destynee, a mixed race girl that was overly outgoing, but knew when to read the room, she had on a teal set that went with her hazel eyes, they were teal/blue in the golden sun.
Finally, Nevaeh, she had on a dark purple lulu set and black Nike forces on, her caramel skin glowed in the sun, she was a mix of all her girls.
"Tell me if he looks, ok??" Alysia said.
Bro just talk to him, tf is your problem out here just stressing us. Nevaeh replied without looking up from her phone.
"Frl we here to relax, stfu abt jaden"
"Like deadass" Destynee and Michelle joked.
The girls talked for a while; about life, makeup, boys, politics and personal issues.
Out of the gates, walked out four boys. All heads turned. Conversations stopped for a minute and then carried on. They were tall asf. For no reason too.
They looked straight out of a 90s coming of age movie about a basketball team dreaming big dreams. Nike elite backpacks hanged over their shoulder and most of them had tattoo sleeves.
"Who tf" nevaeh spotted them first and swung her head in their direction. She was stunned.
"How come I ain't never seen them around her before" Michelle stated
With the same thought circulating through their minds, like a connected thinking system they shared. All four girls turned to face each other as they said.
Yeah, they fineee.
