I have never written anything over 3000 words before, so please don't hate me if it's the worst thing on earth... I have also tried to grammar and spell-correct everything, because I wrote it all in lowercase with no punctuation, so please lmk if there are any mistakes!!
The M/C is referred to in second person, i.e., you, your, but occasionally her name will be used. If you don't like the name, I would recommend using a POV replacer!!
Her name is: Cassandra
Her nickname is: Cassie
I also tried to make her home country as ambiguous as possible. It's only mentioned as a small town in the mountains, so do with that what you will!!
If you have any advice or would like to add anything to the story, let me know!! I don't have a beta reader at the moment, and I also am unable to write any forms of smut, so if you want to help change that, comment down below and I can reach out to you!!
It'll take me a while to post more of the fic; I have so much editing to do! But I'm around halfway through at the moment.
Also, please let me know if I'm doing ANYTHING wrong!!
I hope you enjoy!!! Please feel free to leave comments; I love reading them!

You had watched Star Wars when you were younger, way younger, when your father and brother were still alive to watch them with you. This time, instead of watching them with your father, your friend, Analise, was dragging you with her to watch them on a real movie screen.
"I'm so happy you agreed," she squealed as her hand grasped around yours, dragging you to the theatre. You were there to watch the first three movies, courtesy of a fifteenth anniversary screening. Your dad had loved the movies, but you found more interest in rom-coms and thrillers than action movies.
Not for anyone to confuse you with not enjoying action movies, you still loved Marvel and every one of the Avatar movies, but the endless fighting bored you out of your mind.
You could say that the movies weren't entertaining, but that would be a lie. The beauty of the planets and all of their inhabitants made your mouth drop in awe. The costumes were gorgeous, and you couldn't help but envy every one of Padme's outfits. You certainly felt bad for Anakin, but not bad enough to excuse his actions.
"Isn't it so good?" Analise drawled as you left the theatre
"I guess," you said with a shrug, "the actor for Anakin is hot"
"Finally, you get it!" she exclaimed. She'd been going on and on to you about how he was the hottest man she'd ever seen and if she were Padme she would have turned with him. She'd begged you to watch the movie so you could understand, but you still didn't get it.
"Yeah, sure," you said with a non-committed tone. You didn't understand her reasoning. There was a reason for his actions, but that didn't excuse them. You supposed that was why the movies were so tragic, and made your father such a fan of them. He was a big fan of the tragic hero stereotype.
You and Analise lived in an apartment together; your side was cluttered with the small amount of things you had brought with you from home. Hers was filled with Star Wars posters and merch she had collected from over the years. Whilst you deposited your earnings into a savings account, she spent hers on high-value collectables. You wondered where she got all the money from; she had some first edition posters that would resell for a large sum, more than the yearly rent on your apartment.
It was only once you returned from that screening that you started noticing things going missing from your room. One day it was the sweatshirt you'd bought from the first concert you'd ever been to, which had cost you all your savings. You questioned Analise about it, but she swore she hadn't seen it since the last time you wore it.
