Chapter 1: Reincarnation

Dicathen Continent, Elshire Forest, Kingdom of Elenoir, Zestier Capital

The royal palace of the Elenoir Kingdom was a hub of activity. The maids were rushing with hurried steps in the luxurious halls. The guards were standing stiff and with vigilant eyes.

Everyone's faces showed a varied of emotions. Anxiety, anticipation, excitement, it was clear that something big was about to happen.

These high emotions were because of what was happening inside the walls of a certain room within the palace.

The Queen of Elenoir Kingdom, Merial Eralith, was giving birth to what will the heir of the kingdom.

Outside the room where the Queen was, two men stood. One was a middle-aged looking man. He was tall, his muscular body was clad with a decorated robe.

He had emerald eyes, and pointy ears which was the trademark of the Elves. On his head was a crown, signifying his status as the King.

This was Alduin Eralith, the king of the Elenoir Kingdom.

Standing with him was an old man who looked past his prime. He had sharp facial features. His hair was white and tied in the back.

This man was Virion Eralith, the former king of the elven kingdom, also Alduin's father.

"Calm down Alduin, Merial and the child will both be fine" Virion said to Alduin, whose face was full of anxiety. Virion himself looked calm, his hands on his back, only anticipation could be seen on his face.

"I know father, I'm just a bit anxious" replied Alduin, trying his best to look calm.

They continued standing there, waiting for the good news.

Inside the room, the delivery was almost done. The maids stood near the bed, assisting the person who was helping the queen.

Another person in the room was an elderly woman, who had gray hair. She had wrinkled eyes that were not a single color, but a mixture of colors blending together.

She was Rinia Darcassan, Virion's sister-in-law. The current king, Alduin, was her nephew. Another identity she had was that of a powerful Seer.

It did not take long for the delivery to bear results. It was a safe and successful delivery. After slapping the newborn's buttocks, cries of a baby echoed through the room.

"Waah" the newborn wailed with a voice full of vitality.

The faces of everyone in the room soon relaxed, with happiness showing on them.

The maid, that was holding the baby carefully passed the newborn to the woman lying in bed.

The woman who had just gave birth was obviously the queen, Merial Eralith. She had round green eyes with light blue hue, along with silver hair.

As she took the baby into her harms, the door opened. Alduin and Virion who had been waiting outside entered, their excited eyes looking straight at the baby.

"Is this my granddaughter?" Virion asked no one in particular, his voice loud, his calm demeanor melting in an instance.

"What are we going name her?" Alduin looked at his daughter, and asked his wife.

Merial, hearing her husband's question answered while looking at the child with loving eyes.

"Tessia Eralith" She answered with smile.

"Tessia it is then" Virion said, sounding pleased.

Rinia had been standing this entire time looking at the child. Her colorful eyes flashed brightly for a second before settling back again.
