Heads Up!

1st) Characters are aged up! I'll throw some warning way down the road but this will have crude language and (much later) spicy content. If you don't like it you're free to leave. I might make a clean version eventually, but for now this is it.

2nd) Timeline/ lore might be slightly altered. Movie Two takes place over two days, I'm going to buff it out and might touch up the others as well. (Biggest understatement of the year)

3rd) I don't own any of the original characters or plot line, I'm too broke for that. If anything sounds similar to another fanfic it's completely unintentional (there are a BUNCH out there).
On top of that, photos are primarily from Pinterest.
With that being said, enjoy!

Spark Notes Fairy History:
Species and Traits:
There are various fairies in the Disney universe, and they all get very upset if mistaken for one another. They may be in the same overarching "family" as one another, but are still separate into distinct species. A Pug is not a Fox even though they are both canines; the Fairy Godmothers in Sleeping Beauty are not the same as Tinkerbell though both have wings.
The Fairies/ Sparrow men (Worst name ever) are from Neverland/ Pixie Hollow. They are mostly 5in (12.7cm) tall, use pixie dust to fly, and speak so fast very few outside their species can understand them. Their life starts from a baby's first laugh, and quickly moves on to finding their talent/ job, which they are stuck with till the day they die. (Talk about pressure, I thought finding a major tough 😭)
Fairies need pixie dust to fly and hate to get wet. Even Water Talents can't swim, so most just avoid water as much as possible.
Relationships:
Historically , fairies avoided humans, giving them the nickname "Clumsies" due to the slow and destructive nature of their size.
Soulmates are mostly platonic, but always for life. It is uncommon for a fairy to have, or find, their romantic half, so this kind of relationship is celebrated, no matter the pairing. Someone can have multiple soulmates, but it's extremely rare for them to be romantic.
Extra:
Recently the tinkers have joined forces with the other magical beings of Auradon to make a way for fairies to shift into a taller form. They still are a bit short, and can never truly get rid of their pointy ears, but with a simple spell and enchanted amulet, their wings can come and go as they see fit. Having said that, it still takes a lot of energy to change sizes, and when exhausted they'll shift back to their tiny, winged selves.
