Ethan Evans
'Beep, beep, beep!' the sound of a very loud, obnoxious alarm clock wakes up Ethan. He grunts while using his elbows to prop himself up so that he can turn off the alarm.
"Just 30 more minutes." Ethan murmurs.
As he fully sits up to turn off his alarm he notices that it's 5:30 am and not 5:00 am like he thought it was.
"What! I slept it?" He questions himself.
He quickly hops out of bed and immediately walks to his closet to grab is outfit for the day:a light blue buttoned down shirt, charcoal colored vest, dark brown dress trousers, and a light blue and black striped necktie. Without giving his outfit a second thought he throws it on his bed and rushes to the bathroom where he begins to brush his teeth. He runs his hand through his brunette curls while looking at himself in the mirror. He spits out the remainder of toothpaste in his mouth and picks up a bottle of mouthwash. He turns the cap and carefully measures the correct amount of liquid being poured into the cap before quickly throwing it in his mouth, swishing it around for a bit, and eventually spitting it out into the sink. He rinses the mouthwash cap with water and twists it back on the bottle before walking to his shower and turning on the water. He steps in the shower and grabs his 2 in 1 shampoo. He quickly washes his body, steps out of the shower and wraps a navy blue towel around his lower region.
"You ready for today?" A text suddenly appears on his phone from someone named Oliver.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Ethan quickly responds while putting on his shirt and buttoning it up.
"Well good luck today...and try your best not to screw up." Oliver says making Ethan roll his eyes as if Oliver were in the room.
Ethan leaves Oliver on read as he rushes to put on the rest of his clothes. He ties up his sleek black shoes and looks at himself in the mirror, adjusting any piece of clothing that made it look obvious that he got dressed in such a rush. He swiftly walks out of his bedroom, grabs his bag, along with his keys to his black Lamborghini and drives himself to Westley Highland Academy.
Later that morning...
7:00 am
Sierra Brooks
"Sierra, honey time to wake up for school!" Sierra's mother says while standing at her doorway along with her father.
"Good morning mother, good morning father." Sierra says with a warm smile on her face.
"Good morning dear, are you excited for your first day of school?" Her father asks as if he were talking to a toddler.
"Father, this is my first day of college, not my first day preschool. But to answer your question yes, I am excited for my first day of school." Sierra says while giggling.
"I know, but you are still my little baby." Her father says while walking up to her holding her favorite flower:Gardenias.
"Oh my goodness, thank you guys so much, they are absolutely lovely!" Sierra squeals while jumping out of bed to hug her parents.
"We figured we'd get them for you since today is such a special day." Her mother says while hugging her daughter.
"Aww well thank you guys again but now I need you guys to go so that I can get dressed." Sierra says with a smile while waving and closing her bedroom door right in front of her parents.
She places the flowers on her vanity and walks into her bathroom. She turns on the light and suddenly her rose gold colored bathroom is beautifully lit. She grabs her hairbrush and begins brushing through her long, jet black hair. She decides that she can't get ready in pure silence so she runs back over to her room, grabs her phone and presses shuffle on her playlist. The first song that plays is 'Swan Song' by Lana Del Rey. She immediately recognizes the song and turns it up but not too loud or her parents will yell at her to turn it off. She places her phone back down and walks back into the bathroom to put her hairbrush back where it belongs and turn on her shower. She steps in and immediately feels the warm water hit her skin making her flinch at the feeling. She takes her time to wash her body, wash her hair, and do a full body shave. After completing her shower routine she turns off the water, opens the glass door of the shower, and walks up to her bathroom counter to apply lotion to her body. She then walks back into her bedroom and goes to her walk-in closet to grab her school uniform that her mother had ironed for her the night before. After putting on the uniform she takes a look at herself in the mirror before sitting down at her vanity to do her hair.
"Heyyyyy girl!!" a texts lights up Sierra's phone.
"Ughhh Bailey I'm so exhausted, I just wanna go back to sleep." Sierra replies.
"WHAT! Aren't you excited?? You're the most popular girl in school, with the most popular boyfriend and you haven't even started school yet." Bailey says.
"I know and I guess that does give me every reason to be excited but I'm just not and I don't know why..." Sierra responds while trying to multi task and do her hair.
"Okay well what are you going to do with your hair, I think I'm going to do half up, half down with a cute little bow...or do you think that's too childish for the college boys?? Bailey texts back trying to change the subject.
"Who cares what stupid boys think, btw they are just as childish themselves...oh and I think I'm going to just leave my hair down today, I don't feel like doing anything else" Sierra quickly texts back as she begins making up her bed.
"Lucky you, all you have to do is wake up and you'd look perfect. LIFE ISN'T FAIR!!" The compliment from Bailey makes Sierra smile at her phone before hearting it and returning back to her morning routine.
She sprays a few sprits of her favorite perfume 'perfect' by Marc Jacobs, grabs her book bag from the corner of her room, and opens her bedroom door so that she can go downstairs to grab an apple for breakfast.
"Why don't you look beautiful today!" Her mother says with a warm smile across her face.
"Thank you mother, are you ready to go? I kind of wanted to be at school a bit early so that I can see all my friends before homeroom." Sierra says to her mother in hopes she agrees.
"Well then, what are we waiting for?." Her mother responds while grabbing her purse and car keys.
They both get into the white Range Rover and put their bags in the backseat. Sierra's mother quickly turns the car key, starting the car and pulling out the driveway of their higher class home.
