Trixie looked back at Katya.
She fidgeted with her fingers waiting for Katya to respond.
Katya just stood there with a surprised expression.
"Trix...I..."
Katya trailed off.
"Katya it's fine if you don't feel the same way...I just needed to come clean and tell you how I've been feeling."
"No...I love you.
I've loved you since the moment I saw you in the workroom.
We need to give this whole 'couple' thing a try, because there's no one else in the world that I would
want to call my other half."
Trixie wanted to jump for joy.
Scream out the window.
Jump over and kiss Katya.
But she didn't.
She took a deep breath and just smiled widely.
"I'm so happy that you feel the same way.
There's no way I would've been able to go on without telling you how I felt.
I'm just beyond relieved that you feel the same way.
I love you."
Trixie and Katya talked for hours and hours, mostly about nonsense and things with little importance.
By the end of the night Trixie was wrapped in Katya's arms and cuddled up into the crook of her neck.
She was in heaven.
She wished she could make time freeze.
And with that, she fell asleep held in tightly by her new lover.
