To whoever's reading this, I swear this was actually Holland's idea.

Oh wait, you probably don't even know who I am...

Well! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Rai, the "leader" of the group purely because I'm the oldest, which is honestly unfair because I am not ready to bear responsibility or even admit I'm associated with those idiots.

To be honest, I only agreed to this stupid thing for the memories. And because the others were annoyingly convincing.

But that's beside the point.

You're probably wondering what the point of this book is. Well, it's basically a joint diary, a place where we can vent, complain, and document whatever weird disaster happens next.

But this isn't some normal diary.

This diary is meant to document our attempt to uncover the secrets of the stupid facility that kidnapped us.

And yes, we're exactly what you think we are but with a few plot twists because our actual author wants it to be "realistic" even though this entire thing is absurd (Fourth wall break specifically to spite the author ^v^) but we are;

failed experiments that stopped getting seen as useful and got dumped into society but with ridiculously overpowered abilities.

But like I said, failed experiments. Meaning we're unstable.

Physically and mentally.

No real control over our powers.

Quick context on our current situation;

We got sent to a boarding school by the same people that experimented on us.

Like what the fuck??

Why do we have to figure out where is X when our lives was spent in a lab?

I'm currently sharing a dorm with Holland, Tyler, and Noah.

The other four are sharing a dorm too but in a different building because the girls' dormitories are separate from the guys'

It's the afternoon, after dinner.

You might be wondering, why has nobody figured out that you're experiments and how did no one notice any missing files?

Well, when we were kidnapped, I'm pretty sure they fed everyone some bullshit that we were enrolled in some "intelligence enhancement program for gifted youths.". They definitely used a lot more fancy words, but that was basically the excuse.

Also, yes, we are gifted.

I was a prodigy, obviously.

Vanessa was an athlete, somehow the laziest but the most competitive out of all of us.

Elizabeth was valedictorian, which explains why she's insufferable.

Noah was a track star, manages to out run all responsibilities and chores.

Tyler was tech smart, literally changed his grade from a C+ to an A just to win a bet.

Mira was artistic and creative, she actually makes some impressive things

Holland was a musical genius. Still is, unfortunately.

And Airi was annoyingly good at literally everything, she's even a social butterfly. God has their favorites. I hate her.

We all got taken under the age of 12 and no, we are not the same ages and we got taken at different ages. (Info dump ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯)
