The classroom was filled with the loud, echoing wails of a sad 7 year old.
"Huawaawaaa..." Sniffling through a runny nose, Jeonghan clutched his mother's coat, pleading with everything he had to just let him leave.
A boy who was usually so incredibly kind and gentle, his hate for school was fierce. Every time he looked at the school building, he closed his eyes and wished it was a colorful playground instead.
What is this place that makes a boy sad with such a good heart?
.
"Mommy can we just skip school today please?"jeonghan looked at his mother with pleading eyes trying to persuade his mother to let him skip school.
"but why baby? is there someone bullying you?"
jeonghans mother said or should i say sunhee
sunhee is a charming woman that loves her family more thatn anything
sunhee thought his son was bullied in school and looked at jeonghan worriedly and ready to hunt the one who hurt jeonghan, his son.
"Noo, i just want to play with my friend in the playground!"
"who is this kid you really want to see?"
Jeonghan stared back at his mother, trying to piece together a response. How could he explain a boy his age whose name he didn't even know, a complete stranger he had only played with yesterday?
"I don't know," Jeonghan said quietly
"You know what? Let's go meet this mysterious boy after you finish school, okay?"
Jeonghan's face lit up, and he beamed at his mother. "Okay, Mommy! I promise I'll do my best today!"
...............
4:35pm
After school, Jeonghan headed straight for the playground. To his delight, the mysterious boy was already there, laughing and playing around with a group of other children.
A wave of happiness washed over Jeonghan. "Hey!" he called out, picking up his pace and sprinting toward him with a bright smile.
The mysterious boy tilted his head, looking at Jeonghan in confusion.
"Hi! my name is Jeonghan, what's your name? We played together yesterday!" Jeonghan said, beaming from ear to ear.
"my name?"
"My name is Joshua," Joshua said with a small smile. "What's yours?"
Jeonghan smiled back. "My name is—"
Suddenly, a boy bumped into him from behind. Jeonghan lost his balance and fell
Jeonghan was about to cry.
But before he could cry, Joshua's voice cut through the air.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Joshua snapped angrily at the culprit.
The boy paused, looking at Joshua with a defensive glare. "He was in my way," he snapped back, completely unapologetic as he dashed off to play again.
Joshua looked back at Jeonghan and helped him up, brushing the sand off his shirt.
"Sorry about that. It's my brother," Joshua explained, looking sorry for him. "He's just very stupid sometimes."
Jeonghan's eyes went wide with shock. "That was your brother?!"
"yes" joshua said while nodding
