This story is about a girl, Bente Barnes. Her brother is Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier. She is 14 years old, or well, physically she is 14 years old. She was born in 1929, so she is actually 87 years old.
During WWII she got shot. That shot didn't kill her, but her brother Bucky didnt dare check, no one really knows why he didn't check, not even Bucky himself.
After that she got captured by HYDRA and turned into a weapon, the Ghost Soldier. Through a serum she got her powers, invisibility, teleportation and disintegration touch (the ability to turn anything she touches into dust). But the serum also made her insane. They also installed a device in her so she can heal her scars and wounds fast and so they can hurt her from a distance. To keep her physically 14 HYDRA used cryostasis, just like they did with the Winter Soldier.
Then one day they wake her up and sent her out for a mission. They sent her to assasinate two people, Captain America and Iron man. She finds them at the airport, where they are already fighting eachother (this story is during Civil War) and attacks.
But then she is face to face with someone she remembers way too well, her brother.
And for some reason, she doesn't want to attack one of the Avengers. The reason why? No one knows that, not even Bente herself.
