"Y/N!",Taehyung's voice cracked through the storm-but she didn't turn.
Didn't move.
Only her foot shifted slightly backward.
Closer to the edge.
"Don't come closer," she said, her voice trembling but loud enough to cut through the rain.

Author's Pov:
She shouldn't have run.
But she did.
The night swallowed her whole-thick darkness, cold air tearing through her lungs as Y/N sprinted down the empty road. Her heartbeat thundered louder than her footsteps, louder than the wind whispering through the trees.
Don't stop. Don't look back.
At the end of the road-
Lights.
Too many.
Black cars lined up like a barricade, engines silent, headlights cutting through the dark like blades. Shadows moved around them.
Men.
Waiting.
Her steps faltered.
"No..." she whispered, shaking her head.
A trap.
It was all a trap.
She turned abruptly, breath hitching, and ran toward the forest instead-branches clawing at her arms, the ground uneven beneath her feet as she disappeared into the darkness.
Behind her--
A door shut.
Controlled.
Not rushed.
Not panicked.
Him.

He stepped out of the car slowly, his gaze already fixed on the path she had taken. The moment he saw her under the faint glow of the headlights-those clothes, that silhouette-
Recognition hit instantly.
Her.
A faint, dangerous smile touched his lips.
"So you were hiding here..."
The men around him shifted, waiting for orders.
He didn't give any.
Instead, he moved forward alone-hands in his pockets, steps quiet, and measured. Predatory.
Like a hunter who already knew the prey had nowhere left to go.
Inside the forest, Y/N stumbled over a root, catching herself just in time. Her breath came out in shaky gasps as she tried to push deeper into the darkness.
