Do you remember...?

Because I do. I remember exactly what happened that day.

It was november. It was cold outside. We sat on the couch, snuggled up into blankets. My twin brother Moritz next to me. Silence. Just feeling the warmth of each other.

I had a strange feeling, but I didn't know why. Moritz neither. No one of us did.

A phone broke the silence. Mom went to pick up. We looked at her expectantly. Her smile dropped. "Yes, of course." she answered to something. We didn't knew what yet.

"Mom?" Moritz asked.

"I'm going to the police station. Your brother got into trouble or something." she said.

Tim? Into trouble? I didn't belive my ears. Tim is an angel. But the bad feeling spread once again.

"Can we come with you?" I asked not feeling well about this.

Mom looked not very amused, but allowed us.

So we drove to the police station. There were so many people. Moritz automaticly reached for my hand. And I took his. We walked to a counter and the woman guided us into a room.

We were told to sit down.

Another man walked into the room. No Tim.

 Moritz squezzed my hand tighter.

Another two people walked into the room. At this point I was honestly scared.

"Your son," said an officer looking at Mom, "or brother" he said looking at Moritz and me, "was found dead. Suicide. I'm sorry. If you need someone to drive you home, we could do that."

We didn't even pay attentoin to what he said after "suicide". Mom was the first to realise. She started sobbing immediately.

Moritz fell into my arm. I huged him tight. Very tight.

That one sentence changed everything and we didn't even know yet.

At this point I want to say, that english is not my first language so don't be suprised if you find some mistakes in grammar or so. Also this is my first story I've written for other people to read.

I've already written this story in my native language. But I thought, in english MAYBE more people could read and understand it.

If you're reading this, I'm really thankful you do, so have a nice day!
