chapter 1 Linked To Him

          "My head hurt" l said holding my head with my left hand, "who is this?" A boys voice echoed through  my mind. I sat on my bed breathing heavily,I looked around my room but there was no one there."it was just a dream" I muttered.
I checked my phone and it was 6:30am then I stood up to take a shower then the voice returned "if this is a dream why can I hear you?" I froze, I looked through my window and I was certain the voice was not coming from outside,it was coming from inside my head!,what the heck "I screamed" then I remembered the strange crystal,the one that had fallen from the sky last night, I sat up and looked at my desk it was still there glowing then a chill ran down my spine. Maybe l should have thrown it away. Maybe l should never have touched it. Then the voice returned"hello, my name is cyrus". I swallowed hard "how are you inside my head" "l don't know"for some reason he sounded as scared as l was . l was confused maybe l was losing it. Then cyrus voice returned"can you see a blue crystal too" l gasped and turn to look at my desk. The crystal was glowing more brighter than before. I said trying to sound normal"ye...yes"then he said sounding panicked"is it shining". I responded nervously "yes" then the was silence.

Chapter 2 – The Voice That Answered Me (continued)
My voice came out shaky, barely above a whisper.
“But how is that possible… we need to meet up and talk.”
I pressed my hand against my forehead, still trying to make sense of everything.
This couldn’t be real. It just couldn’t.
A voice inside my head. A glowing crystal. A boy I’ve never met.
Then Cyrus spoke again.
“I was just thinking the same thing.”
I blinked.
“You were?”
“Yes.”
There was a pause, longer this time.
Then he added:
“But I don’t think we can just meet normally.”
My stomach tightened.
“What does that mean?”
The crystal on my desk flickered again, like it was reacting to his words.
Cyrus voice dropped lower.
“I think we’re not in the same place, Elise.”
I went still.
“What… do you mean?”
Another pause.
Then—
“I think we’re in two different worlds.”
My heart stopped.
I let out a nervous laugh. “That’s impossible.”
But even as I said it, I looked at the crystal again… and it didn’t feel impossible anymore.
It felt real.
Too real.Cyrus  continued, his voice slower now.
“When I touch the crystal… I don’t see my room anymore.”
My breath caught.
“I see light… and then I hear you.”
Silence filled my room.
I slowly sat down on my bed, my legs weak.
“So what you’re saying…” I whispered, “is that we can’t meet in person?”
A long pause.
Then cyrus answered quietly.
“Not yet.”
I closed my eyes for a second.
My chest felt heavy.
Then I opened them again and looked straight at the crystal.
“If we’re really connected…” I said slowly, “then there has to be a way.”
Kael didn’t respond immediately.
Then his voice came, softer than before.
“There is.”
My heart jumped.
I leaned forward.
“What is it?”
But before he could answer—
The crystal suddenly flared bright blue.
And everything went silent.
