Realization hits hard

1. Mood swings

HII EVERYONE THIS IS MY FIRST EVER BOOK PLEASE ENJOY IT!!

It was raining, a little too hard for Aj's liking. He always had a fear of the rain, well not really a fear, more like a disliking.

"Fuck.. it's raining again." Aj mutters as he clicks the "shut down" button on his pc. He gets up and walks to his door then realises he's not wearing a shirt, he grabs the first hoodie he sees, which happens to be a NDL hoodie and throws it on himself.

Unfortunately for Aj, the first person he saw once leaving his room was none other than Niko. "I see you're giving me some free promo there, Aje." Niko says looking up from his phone with a sly grin. Aj hadn't even noticed what he was wearing till Niko pointed it out.

Aj randomly felt this strange anger or annoyance towards Niko. "Piss off you prick." the words slipped out before he could catch them. Niko looked a little dumbfounded but quickly masked it with his usual playful demeanour. "Whats gotten the all mighty Ayaanle in such a mood." For some reason, those words made Aj even more annoyed, so much so that he turned on his heel, walked back into his room and slammed the door in Nikos face. "Damn." Niko mutters under his breath clearly a little worried about Aj and his sudden mood swing.

Sure Aj was known for his unusual and unpredictable moods but this was on another level, he was snapping at everybody, even Chunkz.. Aj never snaps at Chunkz.

Now its around 5 pm in the evening, its still raining pretty heavy, all the boys except Aj are in the cinema room having their daily chat. "Have any of you lot realised Aj's mood today?" Kenny brings up. The whole group goes silent in recognition and then finally Niko speaks up. "Yeah, he slammed the door in my face today, just cause I teased him for wearing the NDL hoodie I gave him." Niko says looking down at his fidgeting hands. Chunkz decides to lighten up the mood by reassuring the guys that Aj was probably just having a rough day and would be fine tomorrow.

Eventually, the conversation dived back into the casual discussion about content and normal life. Everyone was very calm and enjoying the peace. James and George were playfully arguing about who's better at FIFA, Chunkz was on his phone scrolling mindlessly on tiktok, Sharky and Kenny were being their usual lovey-dovey selves by cuddling watching something on the cinema screen, and Niko? Well, he was in his own world, leg bouncing, fingers fidgeting with the hem of his favourite hoodie which coincidentally happened to be the one Aj bought him in valentines which he wears all the time and swears it's comfortable.

Chunkz notices Nikos zoned out expression and takes it upon himself to cheer him up. "You good man?" Chunkz asks expecting atleast a "yes" or a "I'm fine" but instead all he gets is a hum and the sound of Niko getting up and leaving the cinema room.

Niko quickly walks to Aj's room, he's sick and tired of Aj's attitude and he wants to smack some sense into him. Niko swings Aj's room door open to find Aj curled up in his bed.. sobbing. Nikos angry facade immediately drops. "Oh, Aje." Niko says softly regretting ever being mad the poor boy. "Niko.. Im so sorry." Aj barely manages to get out before falling back into sobs. "Whats wrong, Aj?" Niko asks genuinely concerned, he's never seen Aj so vulnerable and sad. Aj doesn't answer the question and instead gets up off his curled up position and runs to Niko, throwing himself into Nikos chest.

Aj hates physical touch but he knows when he needs it and right now is one of those times where he desperately needs to be held and told that everything is gonna be alright even if it isn't really true.

At this point, Niko is confused at why Aj is so sensitive and why he's been being a brat all day but for now he doesn't want to push Aj into answering things at such a vulnerable state, so he just stays quiet.

Nikos hands find them selves to Ajs blonde tipped curls, ambsent-mindedly stroking his hair. "Well mind telling me why you've been moody all day?" Niko asks with a sweet tone, careful not to overwhelm him.

"I don't know, the rain this morning made the start of my day annoying.. so i guess i took out my anger on you guys. Im sorry, Niko." Aj says with genuine regret evident in his tone. Niko pretends like hes thinking about accepting Ajs apology before hugging him tight causing the shorter man to let out a yelp.

"Okay okay thats enough hugs for the next two years." Aj says playfully which causes a whine of disappointment from Niko. "You're such a big baby. Maybe a little too big." Aj says referencing to his and Nikos height difference.

Niko and Aj spend the next few hours on Ajs bed just talking until they end up watching a movie on Ajs telly. The movie was chosen by Niko and obviously he chose a sappy romance movie just to piss Aj off because why not.

In the middle of the movie, Niko and Aj are snapped out of their conversation by the sounds of light moaning and whimpering, then both men realise a sex scene was playing in the movie. Just then, an idea pops up into Nikos abnormally large head. "Hey aje, wanna do a quickie?" He asks the older man to his right hand side with a playful grin. Aj shoots him a glare before hitting him.

Niko ends up pulling Aj on top of him, making Aj straddle his hips. The position catches both boys off guard but Niko quickly composes himself and playfully kisses Ajs cheek trying to rile the shorter man up. This however, makes Ajs cheeks go crimson red. Niko notices this and decides to use it to his advantage by playfully kissing the edge of his lips.

Niko decides to leave his action on a cliffhanger by carefully taking Aj off his lap like he was made out of glass then walking out the room leaving Aj sitting up on his bed with a boner creeping up..

HI EVERYONE! This is the end of my first ever chapter made, i hope i can make alot, my mid terms are tomorrow though so i dont know how active im going to be

I might do light smut next chapter. Also guys, in my book James and George also live in the beta house and darkest lives nearby. I might have a little James x George in this book but i dont know yet.
