In which Delilah Biggs and Gerard Gibson are best friends. He's not just the boy across the road to her, and she's not just his best friend's twin to him. They spend their whole lives doing everything together - attending birthday parties, Christmas dinners, calling in every new year. People know that wherever one of them goes, the other isn't far behind.

Everyone thinks they know how their story goes.

Everyone is wrong.

Because sometimes the people who mean the most to us are the ones capable of breaking us first.

This story will cover topics that may be triggering, such as: eating disorders, mental disorders, abuse (sexual, physical, verbal, etc), grief and loss, addiction, and bullying. I will make sure to contain trigger warnings at the start of every chapter than contains any of these topics.

This story spans across the time of twelve years. From the ages 4 and 5 until 16 and 17.
