The Weight of Us explores the quiet, intimate spaces between duty and love. Set in the fragile peace following the Hundred Year War, this story follows Fire Lord Zuko and his future bride, Aurora, as they drift apart under the stress of a changing world. Separated by the heavy demands of building a new Academy and the suffocating pressure of impending wedding plans, they must navigate the growing silence between them.
When an unexpected curveball changes everything, the barriers they've built to protect themselves must finally come down. Because before they can heal a nation, they have to learn how to heal each other.
