a/n- How has everyone been? Sorry about being a slacker. Anyways, since I only have about five chapters and possibly an epilogue left, I'm going to try and update this until it's finished.
Also, if you read any of my other fanfics please know that I might discontinue some of them solely because of the fact that I'm no longer feeling them. So, please don't be surprised if one that you're reading becomes discontinued. (For those that are reading Mute, don't worry. I plan on finishing that sometime after this.)

Austin had been in the medical wing of the mansion for nearly a week before they allowed him to leave. Four weeks have passed since then, and I felt as if I was ready to burst. Could I really last five more weeks of being pregnant? At this point, I didn't mind whether or not the baby came within the next five weeks or now. I was ready to hold my baby, and I think Austin was near that point as well.
Over the past few weeks, we've bonded more and Austin has become less restricting on where I can go around the mansion. Though he still has Vic or some of his much-trusted men keep an eye on me when I'm out in the garden, or in places where I might need observations. Kellin usually accompanied me during some of the trips around the mansion, but they never lasted long due to the pressure from carrying a baby.
I was currently bundled up underneath blankets, wearing a sweater that stretched around my belly nicely and sweatpants that belonged to Austin. I had a piece of clothing that belonged to Austin in my hands as well. I had been sniffing it, inhaling the scent while I laid in our bed dozing on and off. I had been doing this for a while now, as I was waiting for Austin to return. I was brought out of my dazed state when I heard the door to our room open. I opened my eyes and glanced over to see that Austin was there, looking exhausted and dirty.
He had left sometime last night while I was asleep and I had gone a full day without speaking to him. And no one would tell me where he went. I really shouldn't have been so surprised by his actions, but I had been. Now I was a bit angry that he had left without telling me. Usually, he told me before he left, even if he had to wake me to tell me. It pissed me off a still, even when the logical side of my brain told me to stop and think about what might make him leave without telling me. I was stuck in a light daze for a few moments before I finally unwrapped myself from the blankets and began to move off of the bed.
"Where have you been?" I asked, almost sharply though there was a hint of worry. Austin gave me a pointed look, watching while I walked closer to him.
"I was out, tending to secret business." He acted as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Why didn't you wake me up and tell me or at least have someone tell me? I was worried sick about you!"
"I didn't want to disturb you. I figured you needed the sleep." He paused for a moment as if he registered something in his mind. "Someone was supposed to tell you, did you ask anyone?"
"I did." My voice was a bit more calm for a second. "I even asked Kellin, but he didn't know eit- What do you mean secret business?"
Hell seemed to break loose there. Soon enough both of us were arguing, and it might have been senseless at the time but I didn't care. I was angry at him for lying to me and not telling me where he was going. We stood there for twenty minutes, arguing about the topic before finally I decided I didn't want to be around him anymore.
"You know what? Fuck this." I spoke anigrly, making my way out of the room before Austin could protest and away from him.
I walked as quickly as I could down the hallway, unsure of where I was going at first before I decided that I would go to the garden. The walk to the garden didn't take too long, and thankfully no one questioned me when I walked past them. I was just about to enter when I heard a sound of footsteps and then someone speaking.
I couldn't quite make out the voices, as the language they were speaking was foreign. I turned on my heel and look around for the source, and I was mildly surprised to see two guys that I didn't recognized talking and walking. I didn't think too much about them though, as Austin was always getting rid of and hiring new people.
After realizing that there was no threat, I opened the door to the mansion to get to the garden. It was a fairly decent garden though it was small, with some features that I enjoyed. The garden was formed around a pathway that lead to a set of stairs that lead to another trail that was meant to lead you to a trail in the woods the mansion was based at. The garden trail was a straight line to the stairs, but in the middle of that was a o shaped trail with a beautiful fountain in the center. The entire thing was covered with various flowers. Other than the stairs, the garden branched off to a trail that lead to a gazebo that had a small table and a pair of chairs that matched the tabel.
I decided to go towards this structure, figuring that it would be best for me to sit down and attempt to calm down. It was dangerous enough to be out here without anyone watching me. Though I was sure that Austin would either come out here himself or have someone be here for him. I did my best to realx and enjoy the nature, thankfully it wasn't too dark out left and there was some light out to see the scenery.
I had been out in the garden for nearly fifteen minutes when I noticed someone coming towards me. It was one of the guys that I had seen before walking here. I arched a brow at him while I watched him approach me. My immideiate thought was that this guy was sent by Austin to either watch me or escort me back inside. But that changed whenever I noticed the syringe he was carrying in his hand. It was too late for me to respond when I noticed this, though, as he was standing next to me. I went to block him from sticking me with the needle but he easily deflected my arm and jabbed the needle painfully into my neck. I gasped, attempting to fight him off but I ultimatley failed due to the fact I was being forced to go unconcious by the drug.
