Chapter 16

Thomas' POV

Newt has been sneaking into my room for the past three days and now I couldn't be happier. Today he brought a bunch of string and had a huge smile on his face.

"What's with the strings?" I ask letting him in. He goes to sit down on my bed laying out all the different colour strings. Minho was trying to read a book, I guess he's trying to get his mind off of Maddy. I then think about Chuck. Where is he? How didn't I think about him once?

"We're going to make bracelets." He says still smiling and I raised an eyebrow.

"Why?" I say laughing a bit.

"Because we should have matching bracelets... So we never forget each other." He said the last part slowly, stopping from sorting the strings and looking up at me. He had worry written all over his face and I began to notice that he's been having these moments lately ever since I've seen him again. I don't know what's up, but I don't really want to bother him about it.

"Ok but I don't know how to make one." I say and he smiles again bringing butterflies in my stomach.

"Don't worry I'll teach you." He said.

We spent the about a half an hour making a couple of bracelets even made some for Minho and he's actually wearing them. Newt made a special bracelet that matches his, he said its if we ever miss each other we can always look at the bracelet and know we are with each other. I thought it was cute.

"This place is so boring." I complained and Newt laughed coming to cuddle beside me. He kissed my cheek before speaking.

"I know." He says. After a while we just talked until we noticed that Rat Man would come back in thirty minutes.

"You should go soon." I say and his eyes get full of sadness.

"I don't want to." He says. It feels like he's not talking about leaving right now, it feels like there's more to it. I just shook it off and kissed him passionately.

"I'm going to miss you." I say against his lips and I felt him relax a bit in my embrace.

"I'm going to miss you more Tommy."

"I don't think so babe." And he starts blushing.

"What?" I ask and he goes a bit more red.

"You called me babe." He said sheepishly and I blushed too because I hadn't notice that I did that.

"Sorry." I say.

"Don't apologize, I like it." He says kissing me one last time before leaving.

"Bye babe." I say with a wink and he blushes again stammering a goodbye. Gosh why does he have to be so adorable.

Newt's POV

I was walking to my room when i bumped into someone.

"Bloody hell." I muttered under my breath. I get up and see it was Maddy. I was so relieved it was her and not one of those WICKED staff.

"Sorry Maddy." I say and she doesn't look at me.

"They have cameras on us at all time Newt. You need to be careful with Thomas. I think they know. I think they're going to make us leave sooner now." I wish that was good news but that would mean no Tommy. These bloody people make me so crazy I just want to shoot them all.

Maddy walks away as if the conversation never happened and I went to my room. As I walked in once again the stupid woman's rules played in my mind.

"You'll be safe now. But you'll have a life where Thomas doesn't exist for you."

I didn't want my mind to go in the details she said because I didn't want to accept it. I couldn't accept the fact that this was going to happen. I look to see Aris deep in thought so I let him be. I must have been thinking for quite as while because Rat Man was back and asking us how we were doing.

"Is it possible you could do me a favor?" I ask and he turns to face me but doesn't say anything and stays expressionless.

"You know what's going to happen to me after we leave this place and I was wondering if you could let what will happen to me happen, but if I could be in the same location with Tommy. Please if it's possible." I plead.

His face showed a bit a sorrow but quickly went back to like he felt nothing. He doesn't reply and just walks out. I don't care what happens to me as long as Tommy will be able to know I'm still around it will be worth it for him. Even if I won't understand how much he'll mean to me.

Please weird Rat Man, please find a way for me to be in the same location as Tommy.
