"can't nobody compare to you, girl." he said, rubbing his thumb against her soft hands.

malaysia wrapped her silk rose colored robe around her naked body. she closed her eyes as tears began to trickle down her cheeks. she had an argument with yet another man about her rights to give it up. she was saving her virtue for marriage and to most men, it was the biggest insult. she didn't know what to do. she wasn't desperate for love but most times when she would get a potential date, she would play along but every-time sex became a topic of discussion, things would go left for her. she sighed, shaking her head as she wiped her eyes. she heard her door bell rang and rolled her eyes. the last thing she needed right now was company. still, she decided to answer the door. she stood on her tippy toes and peeped through the peephole. it was her co worker, london. malaysia opened the door. london's beaming face greeted her friendly. she was gorgeous. she was five foot six with a lean figure. she had her hair done in some bohemian braids that matched her natural honey brown hair color perfectly. "hey boo," london cheesed. malaysia faked her smile, "hey, girl." london clocked that immediately. her eyebrows furrowed and her head jerked back slightly, "who need that?" malaysia chuckled softly and shook her head, "relax." "nah, what's tea?" london questioned genuinely. malaysia stepped aside, allowing her to come in. she was more than a co-worker to malaysia. malaysia moved to california only six months ago. she was originally a southern girl from atlanta. when she started working at the barbetics salon, london came in just a few days and their friendship became a guarantee almost instantly. malaysia flopped down on the couch, feeling comfortable to let it be known that she was down. london watched her worriedly, wanting to know what was biting at her friend's mind. she didn't have to wonder long enough before malaysia spoke. "remember jacobi?" she asked and london nodded. "it didn't work out," she announced, "he said he didn't want to wait until marriage." london shook her head. she was always the on to the next type of chick. she didn't have time to be weeping over no man. but, she was very empathetic. she stood up to comfort her friend. she rocked her side to side, "baby, take it as a sign and move on." malaysia sighed and nodded. she knew london was right. besides, who wanted to spend their time crying over wasted time? "you right, girl," malaysia agreed. london smirked, "of course i am." malaysia kissed her teeth and rolled her eyes, getting out of london's grip. london laughed at her friend's actions. "and since we moving on from that nigga, i say we go sharking," london tooted up her lips as if she didn't make the suggestion. malaysia side-eyed her, "you know i don't do parties and sharking...as you call it." london held up her finger to malaysia's lips while looking her deep in her eyes, "well, you doing it tonight." she only blinked in response while london smiled mischievously.
