Hudson Dropped him off in front of his lawn just before 6 in the evening.
"Son? How's Hudson any news? You guys great? " Carter's mom asked.
"Well, his fine, he just dropped me off. "
"Oh, so you've been in there place? " Ms. Williams asked.
"Yep."
"How about school? The soccer? How is it going? "
Carter shrugged. "School is school, soccer is soccer. "
"What's wrong with you today? You speak barely five words. "
"Sure."
Ms. Carol's been preparing in the kitchen, as she heard Carter's limited talk, she sighed and dropped the bread knife down the table beside the plate.
"Where you goin Carter? We're about to eat. "
Carter didn't make any response. Instead he quickly went upstairs with his white socks on and entered his room as if he's been rushing something. He opened his computer and kept watching movies.
15 minutes wasted, Ms. Carol faintly opened his door, making a silent face expression while holding her son's food.
"Will you please update me about what's going on son? "
"Hmm? Update about what? " Carter answered while his eyes locked on his computer screen.
"Well, umm I'm fine mom. Just stressed up. "
"Stress is normal son. What about you come with me tomorrow shopping? "
"What about Hailey? " Carter said.
"Your sister has a test tomorrow. She can't come. Besides she's always been with me. It's time for you to be with me now. "

Two of'em finished doing the groceries and finally they're about to pay all goods.
"Carter, push the cart here now. And grab me my money. "
Carter looked inside, "woah mom, this is fortune. Can I have 70 bucks? "
"Carter! " Ms. Carol raised her tone a bit.
"I'm not a bargaining woman. "
At the checkout counter, the woman in in duty was a senior from his school during Junior days. She's from chemistry room. They had a talk years ago.
"Whoah?! Carter! Nice to see you again. " the woman greeted.
"What?? Jenifer? You work here? "
"Yah I do. " she looked at Carter's mom and aksed right away while confused.
"Maam? Cash or card? "
"C'mon Jenifer, ya see mom is holding money. "
After paying.. Carter carried the goods and stuff to their family car. "Carter? " Jenifer halted him. "Yeah? Zup? " he answered.
"Can we eat outside some spare time? " while chewing a gum.
"I'm not sure Jenifer. I can't promise. " Carter said calmly.

By the other day, he's been busy completing his artwork. It's a painting of an ocean with a big ship floating alone. In a sudden, he picked a color without washing the paint brush first.
"Fuck! Fuck!!! " he hurried getting a piece of tissue and wiped the painting immediately.
A a big bang at the door stole his attention. Hudson appeared before the door looking like poor chick outside the rain. But it wasn't raining, Hudson's drunk.
