WHEN DID I STOP LOVING?
It's cold out here
Colder than my lonely heart.
It's dark out here
Used to be bright at this usual hour.
Sleepless nights at my disposal
When did I stop caring of this old little world?
When did I stop being curious?
When did I start smiling when I didn't want to?
Now I smile when people around me say something and expect me to smile
Now I laugh when someone makes a joke no matter how stupid it is
Now I cry when someone does something that should make me cry
Now I live when people say that I'm allowed to exist.
I used to be a bubble rising to the top
Unhindered by anyone's presence
Growing bigger when someone collided into me
Until I was popped and all of me fell in pieces back to where I began.
I used to analyze but now I memorize.
I used to create but now I copy.
I used to dream but now I sleep.
I used to love but now all I do is my duty.
