first date

Today was the day.

Matthew was planning on taking you on your first date. As far as you know it was a surprise.

You got yourself dressed in casual but comfy clothes as Matthew said you should dress for this date.

He should be arriving at any point now and you were a little nervous. You heard a knock on the door and slowly walked over to it, and greeted him.

He had a big bouquet of daisies, your favorite! You thank him and lead him into your apartment while you went to fetch a vase to put the beautiful flowers in.

After that was settled you two made your way to Matthews car. During the ride you talked and talked and made silly jokes to have each other laugh.

You began to get fidgety and you didn't know why but you couldn't stop. Your feet began to make you legs go up and down in the seat.

Matthew noticed and put his hand on your thigh, instantly calming you down. You smiled at him and he smiled right back before placing his eyes back on the road.

Before long you showed up at the beach which was surrounded by little restaurants and gift shops.

You two walked into a nice looking restaurant and ordered. You both ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and a slice of chocolate cake for dessert.

After you finished your amazing meal, you Matthew came up with the idea to walk along the beach. You obviously agreed and made your way to the soft sand that lined the land from the ocean.

After walking for a few minutes, Matthew slipped his hand in yours, and the sun was setting.

Perfect timing.

After walking for a good hour, he slowly turned to look at you and you stared right back into his beautiful eyes.

"I know this is only our first date and everything, but I just can't tell you how beautiful, caring, smart, and nice you are. And I'll just get my fears over and say it now but... I think I'm in love with you." Matthew said looking at you with hope in his eyes.

Your eyes tested up and you immediately stood on your tippy toes and wrapped your arms around his neck only to embrace him in a soft and gentle kiss.

As soon as he felt your lips on his, he kissed right back. You stood there kissing for a few minutes until you parted to catch your breath from the wild kiss.

"I think I'm in love with you too Matthew" you said, before you gave him a little peck on the lips before continuing walking, with a smile plastered on both of your faces.

Awwwe how cute! So I hope your liking this story/ imagines so far!

I'm still on summer break but once school starts I'll try to stay updated but it may be difficult!!
