Morning in the dorms was never quiet.

It was chaotic in the most human way possible—
doors opening and slamming, girls arguing over mirrors, someone’s alarm ringing for the fifth time, and the faint smell of instant noodles at 8 a.m.

“Cyra, if you don’t wake up right now, I swear I’m leaving you behind!”

A pillow hit her face.

Cyra groaned, pulling the blanket over her head. “Five minutes…”

“You said that ten minutes ago.”

“That was a different five minutes.”

Then—another pillow.

“GET UP.”

Cyra finally sat up, hair a mess, eyes barely open, while her roommate Anna stood there with hands on her hips.

“You’re going to be late on your first day,” Anna said, judging hard.

With a dramatic sigh, Cyra dragged herself out of bed, the cold floor instantly waking her up more than anything else could.

New city.
New college.
New beginning.

She stared at herself in the mirror for a second longer than necessary.

“Let’s not mess this up,” she whispered.

Students walked past her like they already belonged there—laughing, talking, moving with purpose. Meanwhile, Cyra felt like she was just… inserted into a story that had already begun.

The campus was bigger than she expected.

"So, here we're" Anna said.
"Yeah! We're "  Cyra smiled warmly

"We gotta hurry, or else we will be the last one to enter." Cyra said

"Let's slay"
Anna said, linking her arm with Cyra’s.
Cyra gave a small smile.

The room buzzed with noise.
Students settling in, whispering, scrolling through their phones—typical.

Cyra slid into a seat beside Anna, her notebook open but untouched.

“Who’s the professor?” Anna whispered.
“No idea,” Cyra shrugged. “But I heard he’s new.”
“Hopefully not boring,” Anna muttered.

Cyra rested her chin on her hand, eyes wandering.

Classroom door opened, footsteps were echoing even in the chaos.

“Good morning.”
He placed his file on the desk, glancing briefly at the class.

The chaos was turned in silence.

“I’m Jeon Jungkook. I’ll be taking this course for the semester.”

Anna leaned slightly toward Cyra. “No way he’s the Professor.”

"He's the Professor." Cyra reminded her to stop gawking

“Attendance will matter,” he continued, writing on the board. “But understanding will matter more.”

Someone whispered, “Okay… I like him.”

Every student eyes were glued on him, seems like everyone will love his classes....
