The Rift of Black Souls

Prologue

Nobody wants to explain it, nor do they understand it; it was normal before the rift opened. It leads to a new world here in America...but that world...hated us all as monsters poured from it. US military forces manage to push them back with tankfire and assault weapons as they build a wall surrounding the rift. Only those brave enough can enter in this case...it's Ayla Servante. This girl, a 25-year-old woman, with her black/red hair in a ponytail and pink eyes, looks at the rift. She isn't afraid...and she has orders from her superiors to explore the world. So, she and her team see that vehicles are delivered to her.

One of her teammates, a 26-year-old male, is a good friend of hers, named Fred Karlo who has black hair, and blue eyes, asked, "Are you ready?"

She nodded as she then said "Eeyup. I am ready. You? Alice and Sukuno?"

Alice Miller, who has long blue hair and red eyes, nodded, smiling with joy, "I have never been to another world before!"

That's when one girl's voice came out as Niru Martinez, who has black hair and purple eyes, said, "I am here! Sorry for being late! Sukuno was using the bathroom and-"

Sukuno Williams, who has blonde hair and yellow eyes, yelled, "I said I was coming!"

"Haha" said Ayla as she smiled.

That's when her general said "Attention! Ayla! You and your squad are gonna have a guide! Thankfully she can help with the basics." He then turns to see a knight.

The knight eyed the group, a female voice came out of the suit, "Hello" The knight then introduced herself, "I'm Evelyn, but call me Eve and I will be your guide."

Everyone pays attention as Eve explained about what this world is and...just how BRUTAL it is. Ayla was surprised, "Fuck, what is wrong with that world!?"

Niru was horrified as Fred said, "Oh my god! W-What allowed such a world to be like that?!"

Sukuno then said, "Hmmm...I think it might be corruption."

"No....not corruption..." said Eve as she looked serious, "A fairy." Everyone is quiet...as Ayla gave her the 'Are you serious look.' "Yes, I'm serious."

Sukuno said, "A...fairy???"

"Her name is Leaf, she's not someone to be trusted," said Eve as she eyed Alice, "Got it?"

Everyone nodded as Sukuno laughed a bit, but Eve gave him this stare as he immediately stopped as Ayla elbowed him. Ayla asked, "What's this fairy deal?" Eve then explained to them that she...is an actual entity that is basically a god. Everyone was surprised as Ayla said, "What the hell!? A god!? Wait....how are you here?? How old are you!?"

Eve looked at her before taking off her helmet, showing a 21-year-old woman with long red hair and brown eyes, "I'm 21 years old, a soul summoned by a girl named Alice." Ayla looked at Alice Miller as Eve added, "Alice from Wonderland..."

Alice then said, "Ohhhhh ok."

"She told me to pick a form, so I picked the knight," said Eve as she held the sword. "Now, when you're in the world, you might look different, don't worry. It will be ok."

The team nodded as they went inside, not knowing the horrors that would happen.
