I had a dream full of wonder
In it I was blown asunder
Had it not been for my plunder
I would not be so deep under
Water streaks and water spheres
Blew around my roaring ears
I thought I really had no fears
Nothing is as it appears
Water gushed inside my head
Soon I thought I will be dead
Soon enough I will be lead
To that white light, long ahead
Body thrashing, limbs askew
Only darkness in my view
I must bid my life adieu
Surely I will start anew
Suddenly, it came in sight
Full of wonder, all in white
Far away I saw the light
Everything will be all right
Reaching out I held a hand
All at once, I was on land
Looking down I saw white sand
Only then I understand
All of this within my mind
While in sleep I was confined
To the world I was a blind
Through this all I made a find
Dream, at first, I did declare
But really when I did compare
Surely people would not dare
To call my dream, a nightmare
