"Oh, nothing, we thought we'd hang out at my place tonight" Matt answers.

"Oh ok"

I hear the bathroom toilet flush, "who's that?" I frowned.

"Uh, Justin" Matt pursed his lips, I mouthed an 'oh' because I didn't care if he was here but why is Matt acting weird about it.

I shrugged it off, then headed for the kitchen. I grabbed a bottle of water then walked back into the living room.

"Hey, Justin" I greeted when I spotted him.

He looked at me, he was wearing sunglasses and a black v-neck. I couldn't see his eye, but I knew he was looking at me. He licked his lips slowly, my stomach did a gazilion flips.

"Sup," he nods his head.

I took a seat on the opposite couch from everyone, I crossed my legs and set my water bottle aside.

"Did you guys want anything?" I asked, they all said no.

"Ok, um, what are you doing today?"

"Just hanging out" Justin sighs.

"Oh ok, well, Shelby you have a spare key to my house you all can hang here for a while" I suggested.

Shelby wasn't just my best friends, she's like family. My mom decided to give her a key, since she's always lonely at home. Our fathers both died, mines happened to die from a car crash and hers died from cancer.

So that brought us even closer.

"Ok, thanks kels" my phone vibrated, I looked down and Cory was calling.

"Um, its him" I said.

I stood up and answered the call leaving the room.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I'm sorry that I'm running late. I don't think I'll be able to make it tonight."

I wasn't that devastated that he canceled, but apart of me did want to hang out with him.

"Hello, are you still there?"

"Yeah, i'm still here" I chuckled "but that's ok, maybe next time"

"I'm sorry about this late cancelation, Friday night I'll take you out to dinner and I won't cancel this time"

"That sounds nice,"

"Great, see you Friday. I'll text you later"

"Okay, bye"

I hung up the phone, walking back inside the living room they were talking about god knows what.

"So, is he here?" Shelby asked.

"No, we aren't hanging out today but Friday he wants to take me to dinner"

"Dinner?" Shelby smiles.

"Yeah, b-"

"Do you like him?" I was cut off by Justin.

"No, I don't know, I just met him. I can't just confess my feelings for him right away." I nervously chuckled.

He didn't say anything, I didn't say anything more.

Plopping down on the couch, I huffed loudly.

"Are you okay?" Shelby pouts getting up to sit next to me.

I leaned my head against her shoulder, "I'm fine"

"Its okay, you can hang out with us tonight" Shelby suggests.
