I'm in the family shop called "Lavenders' Flowers" and two women come in and one looks absolutely furious. I just look happily at her and say "what would you like ma'am?"
She rolls her eyes. "Not like a machine like you would know, but I ordered some purple petunias last week and an awful lady said they wouldn't be ready till now!, I mean they were supposed to be here 20 minutes ago!" She scoffed.
"Were you going to a party of some sort where you needed these flowers, for I can give you a discount for the next time" I said nicely.
She looked back surprised "well, no but they told me-"
"I know what they told you, and I'm sorry that this happened but did it really do anything in the long run?" I ask.
I give her the flowers "have a nice day, come again."
"I will not" she declared.
Miss Farah comes in and said "I'm so sorry Abilene"
"It's alright, I know my place" I say.
"You know, would you like to go to the fair with me tomorrow afternoon for a girls night out?" She asks.
"Alright, but after my chores" I say.
"Deal" she says.
