Fear
Every day I open the door and close it again.
I stand at the doorway, afraid to enter the room.
I don't have the courage or the strength. Perhaps many defeats have broken me.
Again, I close the door. I cannot enter.
Tears fall quietly. I regret that I cannot go in.
I wash my face, rub it, and sit on the bed. I take a deep breath and look at the clock on the wall. It is 12 p.m.
I start walking around the room, unable to sleep.
One more sleepless night and one sleeping pill.
I take the pill with a glass of water.
A small smile passes across my face because tonight I might sleep.
I cannot close my day without this pill.
I have no idea how to live the next day, but I want to close my eyes. That is why I take the pill.
After some time, my eyes start becoming heavy, and I close them.
The next day, a bell rang.
I didn't want to open my eyes. I didn't want to see this world.
Please don't let me go back into the same world again.
There is nobody in this world who listens to me and helps me finish this pain.
Why should I go on?
But after so many regrets, I left the bed and went to the washroom.
