I reach Andrews house and I knock on the door.

"Hello" he answers.

"Hi, okay I have a few ideas so let's get to work!" I say stepping inside and pulling him with me.

I bring him up to his room and we sit down on his bed.

"Okay so I have a bunch of ideas!!" I say a little too eager.

"Okay, shoot"

"1- Have her be handed roses by a different person leading her to the gym where the is a big sign that says prom?"

"No to cliché" he says

" okay fine: 2- have the football team lift their shirts spelling out prom?"

"That's just an excuse to see the football team without their shirts on"

"That's partially true" I say while laughing. "Do you have any ideas?"

"Yeah I have one but I don't know if she will like it. I was thinking.... That we could make sure she doesn't miss the assembly coming up, and I could talk it over with Mr. Anderson if I could sing her, her favorite song". He says and I am absolutely shocked. I did not know that he could be so romantic.

"That's an amazing idea Drew,I definetly think we should do it! She's gonna love it".

"Good just make sure that she sits in front row for tomorrows assembly".

"Will do, I have to go before she gets suspicious".

"Alright, bye thanks for the ideas" he says and I wave goodbye while getting into my car and driving.
------------

Claire's POV
"Come on the assembly is going to start, let's sit front row" Kayla says.

"Why? It's probably some boring lecture again"

"Just trust me" Kayla says and this gets me curious.

What is she planning?

Then I see Andrew standing in a tux on the stage and I know something is going on.

"Excuse me, if everyone will take their seats please" drew says

"I would like to dedicate this to my girlfriend Claire. Claire you are the best and I love you!" The people in the auditorium all said "awwwwww".

Then I see Andrew pick up a microphone and I hear music playing. It's my favorite song "kiss me by 5 Seconds of Summer". He starts singing and I realize that he's really good.

Can I call, wake you up on a Sunday?
Late night, I think we need a getaway
Headlights, hold tight, turn the radio loud (turn the radio loud)
Let me know where to go and I'll get you there
Tell the truth and I'll show you how to dare
Flashlights, held tight, we can own this town

Never say goodbye

So kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
And tell me that I'll see you again
Cause I don't know
If I can let you go
So kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
I'm dying just to see you again
Let's make tonight the best of our lives, yeah
Here's to teenage memories
Whoa-oh-oh
Whoa-oh
(Here's to teenage memories)

Close your eyes you'll be mine and it's alright
Take a breath, no rest 'til the sunrise
Heartbeat, so sweet when your lips touch mine
We don't have to go home right now
We're never gonna stop cause we're dreaming out loud
We know what we want, we know were gonna get it somehow

Never say goodbye

So kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
And tell me that I'll see you again
Cause I don't know
If I can let you go
So kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
I'm dying just to see you again
Let's make tonight the best of our lives, yeah

[Break - guitar solo] which is played by the wonderful Sam Moore - Andrews other Best friend.

So kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
And tell me that I'll see you again
Cause I don't know
If I can let you go
So kiss me, kiss me, kiss me
I'm dying just to see you again
Let's make tonight the best of our lives, yeah

Woah oh woah, woah oh [x2]

Once he is done he says through the mic "Claire Elizabeth Summers, will you go to junior prom with me?"

"Yes!" I say and once again the students and teachers in the auditorium go "awwwwwww"

And at this moment I am so happy.
