KINNERET ALLIOT-MARIE: Avec toi, je sui moi.

UNKNOWN: That is not true, mon cher.

Paris, Long Ago.

I was pink and lace embodied. I possessed grace and beauty in the most unruly way. He was blood red and cruel intentions. His presence was one those would flinch upon seeing. I didn't flinch, I didn't scream or cry. I embraced him with undeniable devotion.

His eyes shimmered with bloodlust and I continued to accept him. I reached for him in a sickening way. It was sick, I was sick. We were disgustingly in love. One of us basked in the sunlight, kissed by the rays. The other lurked under the bright moon, hunting naturally.

He was my maker. His eyes had been glazed over with need for weeks. I was naive, I hadn't seen it coming.

The day his teeth sunk into my flesh was the day I died. The sun could no longer kiss me. I couldn't think through my need, my hunger. I could hear blood rushing through someone's veins from miles away. It was overwhelming and unnatural.

I cried when I ripped him apart. Blood coated my dress, it lingered in my hair. The scent had been so intense and metallic. His arms laid across the room, his head rolled a few inches away. I could see his organs, I could see everything.

I was cruelty in its most potent form.

LOUIS DE POINTE DU LAC: I wish I could do the same.

♱ Matador, from Spanish translation; Killer or Slayer.

♱ Hello! Matador takes place in The Vampire Chronicles universe by Anne Rice. It will loosely follow the plot of Interview With The Vampire (AMC.) This fic will follow Kinneret's story, which will coincide with Louis and Lestat's. I'm super excited for you all to read about her. She is so very dear to me!! (I am not fluent in french, so please keep that in mind while reading.)

♱ Kinneret was turned in about the same timeframe as (book) Lestat was-making her older than Lestat in the show. She is of French origin, born and raised in Paris. (Hence the French being thrown around.) She was brought up to be a Lady, which is why she is more formal in certain aspects, but she also has a streak of rebelling.

♱ This show haunts me day and night, it's literally all I think about. IWTV will always be famous!

♱ WARNINGS! graphic depictions of murder/feeding. violence/gore. toxic relationships. vague mentions of sexual assault. manipulation/abuse. mentions of verbal domestic abuse. lots of homophobia (i apologize.) mentions of suicide/attempts. tons of descriptions of mental health issues; depression, ptsd, anxiety, etc. weapons; knives, guns, etc. miscommunication & lack of communication. family trauma. so much trauma. major character death. mentions & depictions of self harm in various ways. mentions of a past eating disorder.

Feel free to step away if any of these things will mentally affect you, you come first.
