It was a foggy, wet evening. Two sat in their hotel room, fidgeting with some of their still un-packed items they hadn't gotten out of the moving boxes when they moved (duh) into their hotel room. There was a knock at the door.
Tap tap tap
Then louder.
Tap tap tap.
"Coming!!" Two said, putting the box down and heading to the door. It was gaty, she looked cold, maybe wet from the rain outside. "Oh hello, gaty!"
"..Hi two!!" Said The smaller objects whom two and her had become friends.
"..come in! You look freezing!" Two exclaimed, holding the door open.
"..thank you.." gaty said, wiping her shoes off at the door mat and sitting down on a chair.
"..how are you, Two?" Gaty said.
"..me?-..oh uh..just fine!.." they lied. In fact, they weren't doing so good, but didn't want to worry gaty. Their mental heath had been slipping, without eight who they knew for practically their whole life.
"..you sure, i noticed you..looking unsure the other day.." gaty said, sitting up straight,
"..oh yes, just adjusting to the..amount of people." They said, wasn't exactly a lie but wasn't the complete truth. "..hey..uh..gaty..?"
"..yeah?" The periwinkle gate said.
"..can i tell you something..personal..?" They cleared their throat. "..i-if your comfortable!.." they continued.
"Yeah, feel free!"
"...i-..it's about me..uh..pronouns....i-im..genderless, but..uh strictly use they/them pronouns.." they muttered, eyes fixed on the floor that now seemed like the most interesting thing to exist.
"..oh two.." Gaty mumbled. "..look at me for a second.."
Two looked up, hands shaking slightly.
"..what makes you think i'd be..mad? Disappointed?.."
