Chapter 1: Nationals

In this fanfic it's only going to be about the wilderness due to season 3 (please watch the show first due to spoilers)

The game was going crazy, so many people were cheering. Ail passed the ball to Tai before the other team could steal the ball.

"Tai this way"

yelled Shauna. Tai passes the ball to her. Shauna defended the ball before it went too far out. Jackie and Tai spread out before Shauna passes the ball back toward Tai who kicks it to Jackie. Jackie hits the ball and the ball hits the goal before the other team's goalie could stop it.

"WE DID IT" Yelled Nat

"WE'RE GOING TO MOTHER FUCKING NATIONALS" yelled Jackie

Everyone huddled up, all of us hugging as we all started to shout "BUZZ,BUZZ,BUZZ..."

"Don't forget your lunch money" my mom yelled at me as I grabbed my coffee in the kitchen. "Yeah thanks mom."

I replied walking past my baby brother who was eating Lego pieces "not for your mouth Zack" I took the piece from him.

"Mom Zack's eating Lego again" I yell at her before giving him a toy he can chew on. "I have practice after school so I'll be late, might spend the night at Mari's too mom but I'll be home before we leave tomorrow"

I say before leaving the house. I always told her things even though deep down I knew she didn't give a flying fuck about me. That's what happens when you dad leaves your mom for a younger women, and all her new boyfriends are fucking pervs.

I walked over to my best friend since kindergarten. Mari Ibarra my everything, she was the love of my life but due to it being the 90's lesbians' and gays aren't the most welcomed.

I just walked into her house since it's just across from mine. "Hey" I hear Mari's mom say. "Hi Miss Ibarra"

She always told me to call her by her name but it always felt weird due to my culture. My mom is from Asia. My dad was Canadian but we had to move to New Jersey when I was 3.

"Mari's still in bed" "okay ill go get her" I thank her and leave heading to Mari's room "Mar" I walk into her room and jump on her bed on top of her. "Wakey wakey" I say "ughhhh go away" "sorry no can do. We have school so get your ass out of bed or you'll walk to school." I say.

"You're an ass, I hate you," she says moodily. "Ouch I thought you loved me." I gasp dramatically. "Come on Mari lets go for real." I get her out of bed and throw her new clothes to change into. "You don't want to wear PJs to school do you?"

Mari and I head to my car. Well, my dad's car he left me when he left. The drive is filled with Mari talking about all her gossip as I listen. When we arrive at the school we head to the homeroom with just ten minutes to spare.

"Nationals are tomorrow, have you packed yet?" Mari asks me. I look up at her and nod. "Yeah Zack tried to hide himself in my suitcase. Said he didn't want us to leave without him." I told her. "He's so cute" "he is at times" I reply.

(it's lunch time now)

I walk to our table, the yellowjackets table. "Oh my gosh did you guys hear. Jason and Maddie had sex in the boys changing room "I hear some of the girls gossiping as I read my book. Mari of course being Mari talked to them about it. "Hey" I see Van one of my closest friends come up to me

"hey Vanny" i smile and make room for her beside me. She's the only one who knows I'm a lesbian I mean my ex kind of guessed I was after we had sex and it was so weird. Van was cool because she told me she was a lesbian too.
