A/N: Not sure if anyone's ever gonna read this, but if so, disclaimer- hey girl im 16 (at the time of writing this) ive got little to no writing experience, and this came straight from the noggin with no marination (This isn't a story ive been working long and hard on).
So, it's not gonna be the best writing. But ultimately, this is just for me. It doesn't HAVE to be the best. Eventually, id like to get better but we all start somewhere. So IF anyone reads this, please just be nice.

Sunset laid upon her cabin bed, staring at the dark, murky brown ceiling. Her feet swayed anxiously as her mind wondered. Wondered in areas where it didn't belong ♡
Flashes of Twilight appeared, her comforting smile, the smell of books, and the gleam of her glasses that just fit her face oh so perfectly. Sunset closed her eyes- a fragile attempt at trying to think of something else, anyone else..
But it all went back to her.
She rolled to her side, clutching her stomach. Her eyes began to water, her mind finally reaching the thoughts she feared most. The thoughts she needed to keep locked away far from anyone and everyone.
'No, no! There's no way I actually LIKE Twilight, right?' She thought.
Her eyes darted back and fourth, as if trying to run from the truth.
'S-Shes just my friend, she probably never even thinks of me that way. Who am I kidding? After what I did? Of course not. I know she means well but, Twi could never forgive me for that.i still can't even forgive myself.'
She continued to lay in the position, pondering some more, but the more she thought about Twilight the more frustrated she got. Stuffing her face into a pillow, she let out a muffled groan.
*Click!*
Sunset shot up, immediately looking towards the cabin door.
"Sorry, Sunset! Did I wake you?" Twilight enters, stifling a giggle. She sits on Sunset's bed.
"No-no, I'm fine, uh- you're fine- wh-what are you doing here?" Sunset stiffly leaned against the head rest, her face turning a cute rose tone.
"Well, I know you said that you weren't feeling too well but.. I was just a bit worried about you. So I came to check and see how you were doing!! Haha!!!" Twilight let out a not-so convincing laugh.
For a moment, and awkward silence filled the room. Sunset Shimmer sighs.
"Im... sorry, about earlier. I didn't mean to leave when-" she started.
"When you almost kissed me?"
Sunset looked down at her hands, playing with her fingers. "...yeah."
Another pause laid between them.
Twilight looked off into the distance, seemingly entranced at the moonlight peaking through the windows.
"I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable, Sunset, but why didn't you?" She looked back into Sunset's eyes, her eyebrows furrowed and filled with anticipation yet, disappointment.
"I-i got scared, I was worried you wouldn't like it. And I heard someone coming up behind us so I just... I freaked out. I'm sorry."
"It's okay, Sunset. Its really not a problem, im just glad we're okay."
"Of course but.." Sunset hesitated, unsure yet so confident about her next move.
"Let me make it up to you, Twi."
Twilight looked up at Sunset curiously, she felt a warmth spread across her face. Sunset slowly shifted closer to Twilight, cupping her face in between her palms and giving her a gentle smile.
There, they sat. Studying each other's eyes, and admiring each other's beauty. And then the distance closed between them, Sunset's lips brushed softly against Twilight's. Twilight's hands twitched, but eventually found their place around Sunset's waist, bringing their bodies closer together.
Twilight leaned more into the kiss, letting out a soft sigh of content.
