It was the first day of 8th grade and it was 2am and Roxanne was not yet up to prepare since her mother told her to stay in bed and sleep some more. Until 3am came and she got up she got up and went downstairs as her dogs barked at her loudly and then surrounded her and scratched her leg. Roxanne who was annoyed slammed the bathroom door shut and then looked in the mirror.
"Heh. I look Chinese I wonder why my eyelids fold all the way up there."
As Roxanne opened the faucet and then grabbed the bar of soap then made a foam and lathered it on her face the cold water hitting her face as she washed then rinsed and dried with a towel. Then she went to the fridge and pulled out frozen food then cooked it in the pan after that she placed the rice in the rice cooker and presses the button down the light switched to red waiting for it to cook. She prepared her uniform and the brown knitted sweater she sown. Later her mother came down and then helped her prepare everything as her father came down then grabbed the car keys then went outside and entered the car and started the engine as Roxanne entered with her mom.

"Remember be nice and talk nice. Make friends ok?"

"Yeah, yeah fine."

As she grabbed her phone and her earphones, connected it to her phone and then played music. As she arrived at the school she was guided by the Senior students to which section she was.

"Excuse me. Where is 8- Onyx?"

"Oh hi! 8-Onyx is on the second floor second classroom on the left."

As Roxanne thanked the Senior and continued to walk, as she walked the stairs she saw her classmates from gr 7 all in the classroom.

"Huh. Well at least they are doing grea-"

As she walked and saw the room Onyx and took a peak at the window try trying not to look like a creep spying on them. She became dumbfounded seeing that all the people that are inside the room are unrecognizable meaning she knows none of them from grade 7.

"Oh. My. Go-"

She immediately ducked down and then looked back then got up and entered the room until Someone looked at her then she immediately shuts the door and then took a breath.

"It's ok. They are just... Strangers"

She let's out an awkward laugh then masks it with a cold expression then walked in then sat at the front row then took out her book and reads it quietly in her head then thought.

"Lets just hope this day is going to be better because if it isn't bad enough I DON'T KNOW ANYONE IN THIS STUPID ROOM"

Until two gay boys sat next to her and then chatted Roxanne rolled her eyes then went back to reading.

"Oh just great. More people and there are even more of them let my day get even
BETTER."

As Roxanne sighed and kept reading until she grew tired and deicided to take a nap until.

"Good morning!"

She immediately shot back up and then everyone got up.

"Good morning ma'am! Welcome and mabuhay!"

"Good morning everyone! Ok. Let me introduce myself first."

As the teacher grabbed a whiteboard marker from the table then wrote her name down her good penmanship shown through her handwriting as she wrote her name down.

"Ms. Penelope Fitzgerald"

"Ok everyone let's play a game. This is called if you are stuck on a desert island, do you guys know that?"
