1. Wolf Moon

I was busy brushing out my hair when I heard a loud scream from the porch. Grabbing my brush tightly in my hand, I slowly walked towards the noise ready to attack.

To no surprise the noise came from my idiot brother and his idiot best friend.

"Really guys?" I asked, still grabbing the brush tightly in my hands, "I thought there was a predator or something."

"Me too." Scott mumbled, placing his bat to rest.

"A brush? What were you gonna do? Brush the intruder's hair to death?" Stiles asked sarcastically, chuckling with Scott.

"I'll show you what I can do with this brush." I replied ready to give him a nice slap with it.

"Guys, not tonight. Stiles why are you hear?" Scott asked, trying to be the peacemaker as usual.

"My dad got called in, some joggers found a dead body in the woods!" he exclaimed before doing a back flip to get to the ground.

"A dead body?" My brother asked.

"No Scott, a body of water. Yes, a dead body!" Stiles answered sarcastically.

Surprise. Surprise.

"And this body is supposed to excite me?" Scott asked, looked at Stiles as if he were insane.

"Umm yes. It's a dead body."

"Stiles, do you realize what you're saying. You want us to go into the woods in the middle of the night to look for a dead body?" I asked incredulously.

"Correction, I want Scott and I to go into the woods in the middle of the night to look for a dead body." he answered with a tight smile.

Narrowing my eyes at him, I stepped back and watched them talk.

"If they found it, why are we even going?" Scott asked, obviously too scared to go.

"That's the best part! They only found half!" Stiles exclaimed once again probably waking up the whole neighborhood. I rolled my eyes which was something I found myself doing quite a lot when I'm around him.

I walked back to my room as my brother left with his best friend who would probably get him killed one day.

It was now around eleven in the night and I was on the phone talking to my best friend, Lydia. Lydia and I were pretty popular at school which was a total contrast to my brother's social status.

Lydia was viewed as more popular but I was a close second.

She was rambling about how her boyfriend, Jackson, forgot to message her after lacrosse practice. As usual I listened, since I was basically the relationship counselor for them.

"Anna, are you even listening to me?" she asked suddenly, snapping me out of my daze.

"I was then I got bored, sorry. Look maybe he forgot, it's Jackson. No matter how much of a jerk he is, he always had a soft spot for you and would do nothing to hurt you." I reassured her. Jackson had his moments but he was a good guy to his friends, well, the people he liked.

"Thanks again for great advice. Are you sure you don't want it as a profession?"

"No thank you." I replied laughing until I heard the front door slam shut and groan, "Hey Lyd, I gotta go. See you tomorrow." she said goodbye and we hung up.
