I roll my eyes and smile. "Yeah, yeah, say what you want...I deserve it..."

"No, I deserve it more than you. I've been an asshole to you ever since the Flak tower incident."

I shook my head. "Hey, I'm the one who nearly offed myself. You didn't put the gun to my chin, did you?"

"But I was the one who both told you to do it, and was the reason why you did it."

I look away, unable to say anything. He was right...but it wasn't just that. "I had to kill some kid caught in the crossfire...I didn't want to live with that on my shoulders..."

"But I was part of the reason. I told you to grow up, I told you to kill yourself if you couldn't handle it."

I smile and ruffle his hair. "But I forgive you..."

"Wouldn't be a wise decision."

"Why not?" I smile and raise an eyebrow. "We all forgive at our own pace."

"Yeah, but you don't forgive someone telling you to kill yourself just because they said they deserve to apologize or something."

I sigh and look down. I open another box, finding two Twinkies. I hold one out to Sylov. "Here. This'll make you feel better. If I didn't forgive you, these would be gone by now."

He shook his head. "No thanks."

I grabbed his face and looked into his eyes. "Are you feeling alright? You're not eating Twinkies..."

"I'm fine. Just don't think I deserve the Twinkie."

I sigh and sit back, letting go of his face. "C'mon, Sylov. When did you go all soft on me? You deserve the Twinkie."

"But I don't deserve it!" he said, crawling away a little bit.

I stare at his exclamation. "Calm down..." I hold out a hand to him, a little afraid that he was going to hurt himself for what he said. "C'mon Sylov..."

"You gotta eat both the twinkies first."

I raise an eyebrow before eating the Twinkies. I look at him when I finish.

"Happy now?"

He nods and scoots back to me.

I smile and sigh softly. I was a bit tired and just about ready for some Oreos. "So...now what? Are we just gonna keep going through these boxes until we start protecting our abs with twinkie corpses?"

"We could," he said, smiling and chuckling a little bit.

I pull my shirt up a bit and poke my belly. "I will protect you, abs." I then lift of Sylov's shirt and poke his before looking up at him. "And...these are your responsibility."

"Yeah. Yeah. And those are your responsibility," he replied, pulling his shirt down.

I laugh and pull down my shirt. I suddenly get an idea and smile. "Hey...can you teach me some Russian?"

"... Why?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm curious...I love learning." I smiled shyly. "So how 'bout it, Red?

"Uh... I guess? But back at the base."

I smile brightly and blush slightly. "Thanks! Y-you know, you don't have too...I could get a class if I ever get back home..."

"It's fine. Russian isn't the easiest one, but it's like Spanish classes."

"Sweet. Thank you, Sylov..." I look to him, a bit confused. "Why're you so soft all of a sudden? Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. You just offer me twinkies, and I love twinkies."

I roll my eyes. "Oh jeez...you're so weird! But...I guess that's why I consider you my friend."

"I thought it was lover," he replied, smirking.

I instantly blushed wildly and punched Sylov in the arm. "S-shut up! Its just one-sided, y-you idiot!"

He smiled and laughed. "You can't hide it. When you kissed me back at the base, that said it all."

"W-well...i-it was just a kiss!" I blushed even more, keeping my eyes averted, embarrassed.

"It was not 'just a kiss!' You know it!" he said, laughing.

"Then what w-was it?" I turn away, occupying myself with another box.

"You were kissing for looovvveeeeee!" he said, making kiss-y noises.

I squeak and shove him back. "I-I do not love you! That's impossible!!" I bit my lip, nervous as hell.

He laughed loudly, nodding. "Yeah ya do! Don't lie to yourself!"

"H-how would you know?" I look to him, crazy embarrassed. "Its not like y-you'd ever even like me."

"Maybe not. Maybe so."

I blush further and look to him. "That damn mystery game of yours...now I'm confused all over again..."
