Dear reader, welcome to my world.
Every story has roots, and mine begins with the people who shaped me.
My dad, Alhaji Salisu Alkali. Calm and gentle, yet the unshakable pillar of our family. A renowned business tycoon and Director of Procurement. Strong, respected, disciplined, educated, and wise. His presence is like a guiding light — steady, firm, and unforgettable.
My mom, Hajiya Aisha Salisu Alkali. Disciplined, cool, and firm. The beating heart of our home. A well‑known judge, admired for her fairness and strength. She cares deeply, though her short temper sometimes sparks fire in the household. Still, she is amazing and absolutely the best mom ever. Her love is endless, and her words often echo in my mind.
My stepmom, Hauwa Salisu Alkali. Calm and cool, adding her own warmth and care to our household. A talented fashion designer, inspiring us with her creativity and elegance. Always standing by our side, always supporting us with love.
And then… the children. Twelve voices. Twelve personalities. Twelve stories. Together, we are fifteen souls under one roof. Sometimes chaotic. Sometimes overwhelming. Always unforgettable.
-AddaHafsat — the first child. Cheerful and cool, always talking. Today she shines as a medical doctor with her own hospital.
- Me, Khadija — the second child. Quiet and calm. A dietician, fashion designer with many shops, and founder of SAH Foundation, dedicated to helping women rise.
- Muhammad — final year of aeronautical engineering. The silent observer. The “big guy.” The small dad.
- Alhassan (Khalifa) — second year in housing and road engineering. Cool and cheerful, though a touch of arrogance lingers.
- Suwaiba (Hajiya) — the beauty of the house. Fresh out of secondary school. Talkative and friendly, her laughter fills the air.
- Zainab — the parrot of the house. Also a secondary school graduate. Born the same year as Suwaiba, they are like twins.
- Fatima — calm and quiet. Never causing trouble. Currently in SSS2.
- Abdullahi — handsome and gentle. Now in SSS1.
- Aisha (Humaira) — black beauty. Cool but short‑tempered (you know Aishas!). Born the same year as Abdullahi, they are twins from different mothers.
- Salma (Ihsan) — talkative and cool. Graduating from junior secondary school.
- Maryam — the beauty and troublemaker. But also my sweetheart. Currently in JSS2. Chaos and charm in one.
- Abubakar (Sadiq) — the last born. Cool and naive. Now graduating from primary school.
Phewww — that’s a lot, I know! But every name carries a memory. Every sibling adds a color to the canvas of my life.
This is the family that raised me, challenged me, and prepared me for the journey ahead.
Dear reader, there may be more characters you’ll meet as you read my story, but I have chosen to introduce the most important ones first — my family.
