Setting up

[ hi!! I'm trying out writing a new fan fic for the fun of it, and because I'm super super focused on poppy/popbot stuff at the moment.. I tried to write another knifecase fic but I wasn't happy with it, BUT ILL TRY AGAIN SOON!! I feel a little more confident I just needed a break, very very sorry for the absence... but I'll try to get this started!!!! ( also pls dont point out my spelling mistakes I'm very insecure about those, even if it's a joke it's not funny for me,)]

I love popbot

It's been days, days after test tube nearly died, days after coming onto the island, and days after nearly being arrested, but why does it feel like forever? Why does everything feel so slow.

( Poppy Lays down on the grass near the voting tents lights, It was way too dark outside and they hardly felt comfortable to sleep anywhere else, all those eyes just staring At them, judging.. it's so overwhelming. )

I don't get what they want me to do... Does it even matter??? With metag out, who am I supposed to play this game with.

( Their head Spiraling with so many thoughts, so many horrible ideas.. it gave them a headache, they used a hand to rub their forehead, trying to ease the pain, but it didn't work )

I shouldn't think about metag anyway, Maybe they saw me as,. another version of him.. and nothing else..

( it wasn't long until tears filled their eyes, and they felt themselves shaking from trying to hold back these emotions, it didn't matter if they cried, no one was going to check in. They just sat, curled up near the light best they could and tried to sleep,)

Things will be fine in the morning, things will be fine. They won't ever be good- but they'll be fine.

(The setting changes and we are now In test tube's secret lab, bot is sitting on one of her tables while test Tube struggles to remember the proper parts to fix up bot, for the past few days, test tube has been making up excuses, saying "I just need to make a certain thing and we can fix you up!!" But Bot knew she was lying, she could see her struggling every since she was frozen. And nothing but guilt filled up Bots head. It hurt to see her struggling...)

Bot: Why won't she just be honest with me? If she can't fix me then fine,.. fine I can live with this, I'm tough, I'm great!

( They take another hard look at test tube, and she was rubbing her own head trying to figure out what to do. This all happened after Bot dropped her. )

Bot: it wasn't my fault, I know it wasn't, but if I was just careful, stronger, better.. maybe it wouldn't happen again.

( The silence was killing Bot, and the longer it lasted the worse they felt, the guilt making them Dizzy. )

"Test tube! I know I've asked you about it but- "

"Hm? Bot it's okay!!, I just need some more time." Test tube said in a calm manner, and it frustrated bot, why was she trying to sound so calm when it was obvious she couldn't do anything.

" No- no it's just, I remembered goo needed my help with something! Something cheer related, so I gotta bounce. Or, hop? Stretch? " They said with a more stern voice, they extended their legs and went up the slide, leaving test tube without letting her respond

Test tube: Their upset with me, I don't know what's going on- I've been doing this stupid lab stuff forever! so what's the problem??

The thought was so frustrating, She's a scientist A genius and she was struggling to do this one simple thing for Bot. It didn't take long for that anger to simmer down, but she still felt so disappointed In herself. One more try. If she couldn't figure it out tonight, than tomorrow's another day!!
