A Static Wave

I noticed every demon in the room seemed to stiffen up and a few cursing. The air shifts and it looked like the entire bar was holding its breath. My claws scraped the wooden counter...Tomorrow? This extermination day is something Hell fears. I wonder what it could be? I said listening closer to the TV mention Angels and from what I have gathered they come every year to kill off demons.

Hours went by and I couldn't seem to sleep, I could barely even tell the time By the time the red haze of the sky shifts wasn't brighter or darker just looked a bit different. I was crouched on a rooftop of an abandoned shop that I climbed onto a few hours ago after the bar.

Something was coming, I could feel it before I could see it. Was it the Angels?

A bright yellow tear in the sky appears, forming like a circle, it was a hole. My eyes narrowed as the hole got slightly bigger, it was glowing right above some tall building on a hill with a big sign.

It read Hazbin Hotel.

Shapes finally emerged out of hole, wings, a mask, and weapons. So it was Angels, dozens of them maybe even more, along with one bigger angel, maybe that was their leader? Some of the Angels dove at the hotel fighting until a black darkness seemed to swallow the Hotel whole like a shield.

This must be what the demons at the bar were afraid of.

This is extermination day, but why are they going for the Hotel?

It clearly appears they have been preparing for this day, maybe if I help it will increase my chances of surviving in atleast I hope so.

My fin twitched, or maybe they will attack me on sight.

Either way, I'll learn something. I watched the black shield break as the stronger golden Angel punched it causing it to break.

Vox was sitting on the couch next to Velvette and Valentino sitting in his own chair. Velvette was poking at her phone frowning at Vox

"Fuck I am SO hard right now" He said loudly

Valentino looked at him smoking and then facing the TV too.

Then he watched as Alastor got hit by Adam with his weapon and his radio staff broke too. Alastor hit the wall

"Yes! Fuck you Alastor!"

Valentino grinned and Velvette just rolled her eyes.

"This is better than Sex" He said happily, jumping onto the table.

Alastor then turned into a shadow and disappeared.

"NO NO Fuck you fucking pussy."

Vox replayed the exact frame of Alastor's staff getting sliced, but then he felt static again and his antennae twitched. He paused for a second, velvette didn't look up from her phone to notice and Valentino didn't notice either as he was looking at the screen.

"Something up babe?" Valentino said.

"No it's nothing Val" Vox responded back forcing himself to stay relax like nothing happened. He had another static making his antenna twitch again a little sharper, Velvette could hear it this time.

"You doin a little dance Vox?"

Vox looked embarrassed pushing himself off the couch.

"I just need to check something, I think one of my systems is bugging again"
