A/N: Hey all, I'm sorry for the long and unexpected hiatus since August. I've had a rough couple of months, mainly with where I'm working. So many changes, especially since I have accepted a new role in my work, which meant a lot of paperwork and getting to know new people before everything is finalised. It's why I've been out of commission for a while, and probably for a bit longer, but don't worry, I have not forgotten this story, and I am going to complete it, but bear with me, as updates will be extremely slow at this point.

Snippet Scene 1

"This is Witch Business. Let's ask a Witch."Elijah said drily as if it was obvious as to where he was going and who he was going to speak to while Marcel, Klaus, and Elena watched him leave.

While Klaus and Marcel shared an uneasy glance, Elena looked out the window, her mind racing as she processed everything that had happened in the last half hour since the earthquake and Davina vomiting up dirt.

In all honesty to Elena, who knew very little about witchcraft, much less ancestral magic, but she understood just enough to know that no one, a regular witch or one from an ancestral coven, should contain so much power, so much magic, in one single being for so long.

Bonnie, when she was powered by the magic of the dead Witches from the Witch Burial Ground, also known as the Old Witch House, was a clear example of that, as the consequences for being, for lack of better words, overcharged with magic was like signing your own death warrant.

Snippet Scene 2

"Marcel!"Elena called out to Marcel as she tried to catch up to him without running, and was grateful when Marcel slowed down for her to walk by his side.

"Look, I'm not in the mood."Marcel warned the pregnant Doppelganger.

"I wouldn't be either if I was told that the person I cared about, had to die to complete some fucked up ritual."Elena said calmly as she glanced up at Marcel."And I've been that person that everyone cares about."Marcel paused at that, knowing that was a fair point. Being born as the Doppelganger gave Elena more leeway to Davina's situation than most."I also know that people, who care about those in danger, do reckless things that hurt others, that hurts the person who could die."Elena grimaced."The brother of my ex-boyfriend force fed me his blood on the night I was to be sacrificed to break Klaus' curse."Marcel's eyes widened before they darkened, clearly disgusted.

"You think I'd do that to Davina?"Marcel asked, frowning heavily as he fully turned to face Elena.

"No."Elena disagreed, shaking her head."But remembering what happened to me, I also remembered the reason why he did it."Marcel raised an eyebrow at Elena."Elijah has an elixir, which was originally intended to be used to bring back the Doppelganger before me five hundred years ago, but you know her story, right?"Marcel looked at Elena, shellshocked.

"Is that how you survived?"Marcel asked, already preparing to hunt down a Witch and have her create the elixir.

Elena shook her head again."No, my ex-Witch friend exchanged my adoptive uncle's life for mine because the elixir wouldn't work if I had Vampire Blood in my system."Marcel was even further blown away by what he was being told."I don't know the spell, but I have a very good hunch that Elijah kept the elixir."

"And you think a five hundred year old elixir would still be what? Useful?"Elena gave him a deadpan look."That there's no expiry date?"

"I'm sure that if a cure for vampirism can last over a thousand years without expiring, then Elijah's elixir can too."Elena paused."So, whatever you're thinking of doing, maybe put this into consideration."

Snippet Scene 3

"Am I the only one thinking?"Rebekah questioned her two, in her opinion, and not for the first time, deranged, older brothers."Our Mother was the most powerful Witch in history."She pointed out the obvious and known fact about their Mother."If we bury her, we hand that power to our enemies, to use against us!"

"Given our circumstances, I hardly see that we have a choice, Rebekah."Elijah said, not seeing any other option they had, with his arms crossed.

"I don't know why I bother."Rebekah said with a scoff."You two will just do what you want, anyway."

"No, our decision must be unanimous."

"This is not a democracy."

"You're quite right. This is Family."Elijah paused when they heard the telltale signs of a heavy downpour."Water. The next sign's began, Rebekah."

"Then, Elena should get a vote."Rebekah stated, causing Klaus to groan while Elijah frowned heavily at the female vampire."Not once have you mentioned that she's agreed to even signing a deed."

"What deed?"Elena asked, stepping into the room.

"A deed that will help us consecrate the bones of our deceased Mother, who will join the Ancestors and her magic will replenish the power for Davina's ex-coven."Elena's eyes widened and she looked at Elijah, horrified.

"Excuse me!?!"Elena exclaimed, her voice raising in pitch."Have you all lost your minds!?!"

"Oh no. Apparently, this is the; kill a demon today, and face the devil tomorrow, situation."Rebekah said grimly.

Snippet Scene 4 (This is an idea & if you like, please vote in the poll for who should come back)

Unknown to Sabine, or rather, Celeste, when she brought back three other Witches to help her in her ploy to get her revenge on the Mikaelsons, someone else had latched onto the spell that brought back Genevieve, Papa Tunde, and Bastianna.
