As Marcus wrapped up getting Latoya all settled in for college, he was so proud of his baby girl. Marcus reached into his pockets and pulled out two thousand dollars, he winked at his daughter and told her, "Keep that just in case of a rainy day." As he got into his truck, making his way back home his phone suddenly started to buzz, it was an urgent call from his son. The moment he answered, he could sense the thrill radiating from his son's voice, so tangible that Marcus barely had time to greet him.

"Pops! Ah, Pops! Can you hear me? I've got some incredible news!"

Marcus chuckled, a smile creeping onto his face as he replied, "Yes, son, I can hear you just fine. What's this exciting news you have for me?"

Without missing a beat, Jr launched into his story, barely containing his enthusiasm. "So, Pops, I was at the car wash near the mall—I wanted to get the big rig looking clean and sexy. While I was waiting, I met this lady. She was really friendly and asked me how long I've been driving and which company I work for. I proudly told her about our Father and Son Driving Company. Well, here comes the best part! She handed me her business card and said she'd love to meet with us tomorrow if we're available. Her sons own a gym, and they're in need of a trucking company to move some heavy equipment for them. Can you believe it?"

As Jr spoke, the excitement in his voice was contagious, and Marcus couldn't help but feel a surge of fulfillment for his son's ambition and willingness to seize opportunities.

Marcus got excited about the news and told his son, "Well, that is good news! We sho' can make that happen. Look, I'm on my way back now. It's a thirteen-hour drive, but I can handle it." Marcus looked at the time on the car radio, did the math, then told his son, "Jr, tell her we can meet tomorrow around four in the evening. I should make it in town around nine in the morning. That'll give me enough time to rest before we meet this lady you're talking about."

Jr told his father okay, he'd make the call, then told him to be safe before hanging up.

While Marcus was on his way back home, his sister Michelle was having the hardest time trying to help their father, Otis, find his wallet and cell phone. Michelle had made plans to take her father out to eat, but Otis told his daughter he couldn't leave the house without his wallet and phone. He couldn't remember where he'd left them. He figured his phone must've been on silent because they couldn't hear it ringing. They searched the house high and low until Jackie found his father-in-law's phone in the microwave and his wallet in the refrigerator.

Jackie yelled out to his wife, "Baby! I found the missing items y'all been playing hide and seek with!"

Michelle rushed downstairs into the kitchen and asked, "Where did you find them? I looked everywhere!"

Jackie laughed, took a bite of his pizza from the microwave, then said, "The wallet was in the refrigerator on top of the pizza box, and the phone was in the microwave—on silent!" Jackie busted out laughing again and took another bite of his supreme extra cheese pizza.

Michelle grabbed her father's phone and wallet, then walked into his room. When she walked in, Otis was staring out the window, watching the birds take a bath.

"Daddy, I found your phone and wallet," Michelle said. "Did you take some medicine last night that made you sleepy? You put your phone in the microwave and your wallet in the refrigerator!"

Otis had no clue how that happened. He scratched his head, trying his best to remember what he did yesterday that could've made him do that. Finally, he said, "Baby, I don't even remember what I did last night. I remember eating pizza and watching TV with Jackie—that's all I remember."
