chapter 8: first day out of Bell Reve

Cade: sweet flea...

Felicity: what the FUCK HAPPENED!?!

Cade: ....

(Flashback)

We see Cade open the door to see his ex-wife and eldest daughter Ruth and Heather.

Cade: I thought you were still in Italy.

Ruth: my friend Judith lives two blocks away from your house and she saw that the accident Felicity has returned.

Cade: how did she from two blocks away?

Ruth: well...

Cade: that doesn't matter.

He said as he pulled out an envelope full of cash.

Cade: here's the alimony for the month.  Along with the child support.

Ruth: those are not the only reasons why we're here.

She said as she and Heather moved past Cade into the house.

Cade: Ruth, you know you're not allowed in my house after what happened.  But if you are staying inside for this just make it quick.  I do not have the time!

Ruth: I know that your spawn was in some kind of prison, Cade.   I'm not surprised, given your family's history.

Cade: that can't possibly be why you're here!

Ruth: and our daughter Heather saw this!

She said as she pulled out her phone, showing a picture of Felicity and Dek.

Ruth: I'm assuming those ink marks and the horns are some disease she inherited from you.

Cade: (deadpan) what?

Heather: does that mean I might have it!?

Cade: look, I don't know what caused it!  So you can't just assume it's from--

Ruth: but what the hell is she sitting next to!?

Cade: that's her alien boyfriend Dek.

Ruth and Heather were immediately horrified at what Cade said about that.

Ruth: What!?

Heather: eww!

Cade: she must've met him when she was gone, but I don't care.

Ruth: how could she do this to the Evelyn family!?

Cade: how does this affect your family?

Ruth: how could you not see this as a problem!?

Cade: she's happy!  That's all that matters!

Ruth: so you don't care if she mixes your bloodline with that... Thing!?

Cade: you let Heather sleep with anything that has holes but the second our daughter Felicity has a boyfriend that's not some inbred rich white boy that's a problem with you?

Then the creature commandos opened the door and walked in on the drama.

Harley: GI robot, for the last time, I don't know how long until--

Then they all saw Ruth and Heather.

Kai & Leela: oh no!

Dib: I'm surprised all her plastic surgery didn't kill her yet.

Dr phosphorus: by my guess you're Felicity's incubation unit of a mother.

(End of flashback)
