It was the first day of May and Tony decided that a small celebration of 'May Day' was in order. Honestly with such a grim lifestyle the team liked to celebrate all that they could, and no one was objecting to the treats that were being served at breakfast. But everyone did notice something off, about everything.
The sun didn't shine right, none of them could fight properly, it was just a weird sluggish day for everyone and they didn't know why. They supposed it was because they were tired. Surely it was that and wasn't something awful like it always ended up being.
If anyone knew anything it was that Captain Steven Grant Rogers had a habit of being the pinnacle of physical condition and health, and he really wasn't one for snacks that probably weren't in anyway natural or healthy. So, when he calmly reached over and was eating a fluorescent green cupcake and clearly loving the taste everyone simultaneously raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"what?" The soldier asked, a hand resting over his mouth as he hadn't finished chewing (and he still had manners) "Can't I eat?" He was also clearly not getting the oddness of his food choice. Most of them still simply shrugged and continued snacking on the treats, all promptly going to the gym the next day.
