"Yeah, I guess your right." We walk to the ball room and everyone bows down. I blush and look at Alexander. He looks at me and gives me a reassuring glance.

"You'll get used to it, don't worry." He says smiling lightly. I nod and continue walking. When we reach the dance floor he grabs my other hand and makes me face him. 'Follow my lead.'

'Okay' I respond mentally. 'You know I'm getting used to this mind taking thing.' He smirks at my comment and grabs my waist with both hands. I grab his shoulders and smile at him.

'Dance slowly and gracefully. Just sway back and forth and don't look down at our feet.' When he mentioned to not look down I blushed because after he said sway back and forth I had looked down.

'S-sorry.' He laughs at me lightly. 'D-don't laugh at me.' I say to him embarrassed.

'Sorry, you just looked adorable when you looked up at me blushing.' I say nothing and look away still blushing. We continue to dance like this until the song was over, and let me tell you that was the longest song I ever hear. I hear my stomach grumble. I blush as all the people around me steal little glances at me. I look up at Alexander.

'Alex, um, is there human food here?' I really hope there is, well at least they have to have water right? For showers and stuff.

'There is but its raw or has blood mixed in with it.' He responded mentally.

'Can I go to the kitchen and order something cooked?'

'I guess so, let's go before your stomach grumbles again.' I nod and walk besides him. We walk out of the ball room and into the hallways, we walk to two big white doors by the ball room. Alexander opens one of the doors and let's me in.

"Wow! This place is huge!" I say as I take in the sight. There's so many utensils for cooking! He smiles at me and walks to a man in a chefs outfit that's facing the other way preparing food. Alexander clears his throat and the man turns around. Instantly I stare at his blood red eyes. Does he dink a lot?! I hope he realizes that I'm not 'human'. Is it because he's always around blood? I look up at Alexander a bit worried. He turns to me and smiles.

'Don't worry, he's not going to drink off of you.' I smile back but still keep my self ready for anything.

"Aah! Hello! What a pleasant surprise! How have you been Sir. Alexander?!" The man says with energy.

"I'm fine David." Alexander responds happily.

"And who is this fine lady here next to you?! Is she your mate?!"I blush lightly.

"This is Nikki, and yes she is my mate." Alexander says proudly. I smile and blush a bit more as he grabs my waist. The man smiles at both of us but then gets a surprised look on his face when he looks at me.

"Oh my! Are you the Kings lost daughter?!" I smile at his bluntness.

"Yes, I am." He bows down quickly out of respect. He gets up and looks at me a bit confused. "May I ask a question?"

"You may." I say curious on what he's going to ask.

"Why do smell like a human?" I stiffen.

'What should I say?!'

'The truth, it's better than lying.'

"Because...I'm half human..." He stares at me.

"How so?"

"Well obviously my mother is human and my dad the king of these vampires." He nod and turns to Alexander.

"Well then, can I do any service for you?" He says politely.

"Yes, can you make a meal for Nikki, something a bit more ...cooked?" Alexander says back.

"Of course Sir." He turns around and starts getting things in a flash. A few seconds pass and he started cooking.

"Where should we eat? Or are you not eating?" I say to Alexander.

"Let's eat at the green house. It's very fresh there." I nod and sit down on a chair next to me. He walks to me and stands in front of me. He grabs my hips and looks at me. "You are very beautiful, you know?" He leans down and kisses my forehead. I smile and surprise him with a kiss on the lips as I stood up. I walk out the doors and look for a bathroom. Man I should have went before we left but I was too nervous to meet my dad. "Were are you going?" I hear Alexander ask. I stop and turn around.

"Is there a bathroom here?" I say quietly. He smirks and grabs my hand.

"Over here." He walks to me through a hallway until we reach two doors one saying girl and the other saying boy.

"Thanks." I walk in and get into a stall. I can't do this anymore. I can't stand this thirst. Am I turning into a vampire?! I walk out and wash my hands after I flushed the toilet. I see a sink and was about to drink when I saw it said water or blood. I push on water and start drinking. I keep drinking but the thirst doesn't go away. Should I try tasting blood? No, I can't. Can I? I straighten up and walk to out the door. I see Alexander by the door resting on the wall with his hands in his pocket. He looks at me and stands correctly.

"Ready to eat? The foods ready." He says as he grabs my hand in his. I smile but my thirst is burning my throat. We walk back to the kitchen and grab the food.

"So where's the greenhouse?" He smiles and walks me through hallways with my food in hand. We reach a glass door and I could faintly see trees inside. The doors open and we walk in. How did that happen? Are they manual? "Wow! It's so beautiful! I've never seen plants like these." We sit down on a chair in the middle of the garden. Alexander hands me my food and I start to eat. When I finish eating I drink the water that they gave me in the kitchen. Too bad they didn't have juice. I set my plate and glass next to me. At least I'm not that hungry anymore, but I'm still very thirsty and a bit hungry. I stand up and Alexander follows. I look around at all the flowers and plants. I walk up to a tree and touch it, the flowers and leaves start to bloom out of the tree branches. Wow! I look at Alexander and he smirks. "Ive never seen these!"

"That's because these only grow here now, the air got polluted on the rest of the world and they died. We have the cleanest air so they survive here better than any were els. The air is like medicine for humans too." Alexander explains to me.

"Thats cool, it's sad though that were ruining the air." He nods and we continue walking. I see flowers glow and some oven fly or close as there touched. I see a big white glowing flower and I walk towards it. I see Alexander walk off to get something from the other side of the green house. I walk up to the flower and touch it, as soon as I do so the flower turns blood red.
