The commissioner started but paused himself releasing a sigh, knowing he won't budge.
"Anyways be alert.
Rathore se mila tha mai kal , usse wapas join karne me one week lagenge, tab tak you are in charge of the team."
"yes sir."
Arjun nodded , saluted and exited the office.
On reaching the bureau he walked past the conference hall but stopped realizing no one was around , even though it was past the office hour.
just then Ayesha came running inside and her feet stopped on noticing Arjun standing in the front.
"Good morning sir, sorry mujhe thoda late ho gaya baarish ki wajah se."
"Baaki sab bhi late aane wale the.?"
Arjun asked ,much to her confusion.
"Huh ? Nahi toh."
Ayesha glanced at the conference hall then at him.
"Actually sir mujhe pata nahi hai. Subah se sirf Riya se baat hui thi vo Rathore sir se milne jaane wali thi hospital , baakiyon ka pata nahi."
"Sabko call kardo."
He told her and went ahead to grab a glass of water.
" Ji sir. "
Ayesha murmured dialing Sakshi's number first which went unanswered.
The she dialed chhotu's number which went unreachable.
"Kya hua.?"
Arjun asked.
"Pata nahi sir Sakshi phone nahi utha rahi hai, chhotu ka phone nahi lag raha. "
"Mai shree ko call karta hun."
Arjun said quickly dialing shree's number, meanwhile Ayesha dialed Riya's number.
Shree's phone too went unanswered, whereas Riya picked up in few rings.
"Hello Riya, kahan ho tum ab tak bureau nahi pahunchi."
Ayesha asked.
"Ayesha thoda time lagega ,kya tum please Arjun sir ko bol dogi ? Maine inform bhi nahi kiya hai."
Riya said from the other end.
"Sir bhi yahin pe hain. Per hua kya? Kahan ho tum ? Aur ye picche itni awaz kyun arahi hai.?"
Ayesha questioned.
"Arey ye sakshi ki awaz hai , vo ladh rahi hai yahan."
Riya answered shifting her gaze from the knob of the door to Sakshi and the guy who were busy in bickering.
"Mujhe toh lagta hai tum hi ne kiya hai ye sab.."
Sakshi shouted.
" Ek toh mai yahan help karne aya hun upar se tum kabse mujhe hi bole jaa rahi ho? "
The guy shouted back at her.
"Kaunsi help kar rahe ho tabse ? Yahan lambi lambi baatein kiye jaa rahe ho aur kuch nahi. Tum toh chehre se hi suspect lag rahe ho."
Sakshi argued further.
"Huh. Tum kya sach me ETF me ho? Itna kharab judgemnet kisiki kaise ho sakti hai.?"
The guy scoffed.
"Kya kaha ? Meri judgement kharab hai ? Tum mujhe..."
"Tum dono chup karoge.?"
